I lack some serious pics for these guys, but I'm in Korea. This is the make up of the whole army/collection, all designed to fit in one box + vehicles

The DAs were my first army under my tale of 4 armies. I wanted a huge matching army, and one to compete against it. So completed so far I have the DAs (1 gw case), Steel Legion (1 double gw case, but they are in need of a major upgrade), Renegade Guard (1 Double gw case), and I'm currently working on a single case Black Legion Army. I'm getting excited as this long term project comes to an end. The problem is by the time I get to the end of the BL army, my first army, the SL, look like total crap, and will have to be stripped and repainted... I'm not looking forward to repainting nearly 200 models up to the same standard!!!!!! And my pace of painting is slowing to 1 mini every 2 or three days, getting old

Your conversions are very nice, very good paintwork too, maybe some highlights on the land raider are a bit large but overall it's a great army. Very vintage feeling. Beppo, are you from Italy?

A shame on the kind of crappy photographs, as the army looks very good! Your conversions are neat and characterful, and your painting seems to be to a good level as well. Would love to see some better pics! Just having a white background, using the macro setting on the camera, and then using auto adjustments in whatever picture/photo editing program you have usually works wonders.

I'm from Canada, but I'm working in Korea right now, so I'm away from my DAs at the moment. I never got 'round to taking final pics of the whole army when it was finished, I will do so when I get back home. Most of the pics are in progress quick snaps

yeah, I liked the idea of the Legion being surround by actual fire, rather than on their armor. I did that a number of years ago, and have been meaning to give it a second try. The highlight on Sammael, if I can remember correctly, was just a watered down Enchanted Blue, with a hit of fortress or codex grey after.
