With Throne of Skulls April tickets on sale next week, 3rd Jan I think? Will anyone be going?

I'm taking Iron Warriors too, but that's because my Tau army isn't painted yet.

That my ticket bought, now to just get my new (6th) Iron Warriors army fully built.
Just had there first game on Sat against Blood Angels, won 8v4 Kill points leaving them with a Baal Predator in the end

Shame it is back down to 1500points. I wonder why? Anyone know why?

Because Throne of Skulls is a 'brand' and has always been 1500pts. When the events team changed it to 1750pts, they got a bit of a rollocking as it was messing with the 'brand'. That comes from someone that I know who works within the studio.

I myself have got two tickets for April, and I bought myself one for the event at the end of the month - I was a bit surprised they still had tickets left.

With just over a month until Throne of Skulls April, how everone getting on?

Painting wise just a Object Marker to finish off & a new Terminators (want to try out the liquid green stuff). Game wise, while I'd like to have a fourth troop chose the list is doing alright & enjoy the way the Iron Warriors are gaming. Just need to get some games vs Nids & Grey Knights right now.

Hotel all book, mange to get the last room as well. Just find it wired how it all book out but the Easter holidays are two week before this?

I am all sorted with my new army. Plague Wolves! Go Nurgle chaos marines, just on the turn! Like a pint of milk left on the window sill.....

Even had a practice game! Which I won! Crazy!

I'll be going with my Necrons which are about half painted as we speak.

Planning on getting their for Friday evening for some games beforehand as well if people fancy it.

Really enjoy the weekend, one of the great event I attended.

Was happy with my Iron Warriors getting a army nominee & a lot of high comment on the army.

While gaming wise was very close to Best Chaos Marine player by 1pts. I had 12pts, while the Top Chaos Marine player had 13pts. I belive there was 11 Chaos Marine player there as well.

Also thanks to all five of my oppent during the weekend. Not just for the great games, but it make it a great weekend & games that I will rememeber for year to come with ever single one being hard fought. It why I like, hard fought games, I hate games where oppents just hide there whole army (more so from turn 1 onword), no honour in it.
So was great, all five oppent give me some bloody games & it was great talk during the weekend between games/breaks.

I finished with eleven points as a csm player. So... that is your army... hmmm... Beautifully painted. One of those great armies where the more you look at it, the more you see.

It was a fun weekend with an awful lot of fun lists around. A few of the predictable ones but not too many. I had five fun games with lots of epic moments including... my plague marine aspiring champion, being my last guy alive, cutting down two grey knights and their company champion guy (HQ choice) to give me a shred of dignity. Ha ha ha.

My chaos lord killing two, yes two, daemon princes in two turns thanks to being powered up by my opponent's tallyman!

My sorcerer sucking a librarian's soul out with his force weapon. After a mad duel. Just a bit cool.

My lord not dying to Lysander for three turns of combat. The first of which was the lamest thing I have seen. 19 models in combat. Including a lord who rolled a six for his daemon weapon and Lysander. Models killed...zero. Whiff city.

All in all, a fun weekend!

With the army, yes I'm hope everone saw the trophies on the IW backpack. Each one is base on a oppent past & present over the past ten years. Not all of the armies, but once added contrast or great game. Just my armies are alway gear to close up, a lot of friends have commented during event when see close you notice all the detail, like the Kroot/Undead Guards/Ork pocket or the Dark Angel icon.

I had a great weekend myself there but was beaten to best Necron player also by a point but at least I won the most games out of the Necron players there. Was up on the first row all weekend and even got onto table 1, an somewhat proud that I only lost one game and that was against the chap who won the Tournament.

Was playing the red and gold Necrons.

Hey Ironduke, what up. Think you played my mates daemons on friday night? You had the mean shooty list that struggled with the dark angel termie list?

Nick was gutted as his daemons have never lost to deathwing. He usually butchers them by turn 3! Show off. HA ha.
