Hi everyone

this is a project log to show all the little bits and peices that i paint over the many days to come, from random models to armies

this is all in aid of promotion for my Commission painting service called 'Kayos Paintings' (-check it out on facebook!)

Any questions shall be answered, just inbox me

as for prices, my general rule is "same price as sold by manufacturer". e.g. Knights of the Realm x8 - GW sells them for £20 - I paint them for £20

The captain looks good! I think the gun casing may benefit from another highlight (but that my be lighting issues) and there's an unfortunate mold line on the shoulder pad. Also the terrain piece looks interesting if its yours? Stick up a photo by all means!

thank you, and yeah, the gun casing is a bit dull on the photo, and i hate mould lines, but i can never spot them, ARGH lol

and alas no it is not my terrain, its from a local gaming store where i live, the owner doesnt know i pinched it for a photo, haha

i have found one of the best ways to spot mold lines is to run a pin or dull bladed hobby knife over the model only lightly as not to damage the model helped me out of a lot of trouble

well here we go, more stuff that ive been working on, this will be a double post just to fit in the images

first up is a Mysetic spore for a tyranid army that i was requested to make from scratch and cheapness!

it took some time just to let the methods dry out

here are 4 pictures showing the product just prior to painting, i am unable to get painted images as i have already given it back to the guy whos army it belongs to, but if i can i shall get more images!

he is in 'pre heresy esk' armour to make him stand out a bit more


now please note that the point of one of the triangles on his pack marking shoulder pad does end in a blob, this has been fixed as i forgot about it until i took the photo graph haha
