If they keep doing that there wont be any paint left in the pot soon!

I use model color as it is extensive and provides lots of shades not found i other ranges. All Vallejo paints need to be shaken a lot. I have a big pot of their sepia wash and that you need to shake for around 5 minutes other wise you get a very streaky finish. I also watered it down a little and it works a treat and is a bargain for the amount of wash that get.
To help with this problem I can recommend these things. Just put one or two in your bottles and they reduce the amount of time you need to shake your paints considerably.

I guess certain colours aren't evaporating fast enough...
I miss Chris Farley.
Their going to advertise in WD: 1 pot paints 1 mini! More convenient than ever!
GW has already priced themselves out of my budget but i'm interested in seeing if they come up with a new line of something in this change. Foundations and Washes have been met with overall approval so despite the prices people seem to like the new paint products. I also wonder if this has anything to do with ArmyPainter's paint line coming out in the US in march.

Apart from new colours and old ones being removed, I heard that there will be happening something different. The whole thing was advertised as something 'great', 'important', 'revolutionary' etc. I think they will do something more than 'only' renew the line. In addition, as I understand it, in march there will be more informations about this, the actual thing will happen later.
Also, wasn't there a rumour last year from someone, who worked for a colour manufacturer which was visited by GW guys? This might tie in with this one?!

Im liking Coat'D arms more and more, GW paints from the good old days!
Still GW washes and metallics are still very decent.
Il wait and see what happens.
It maybe the push I need to leave games workshop paints altogether and try a few other ranges I see mentioned alot
Anyone able to inbox me a few recommendations? Dont want to hi jack the thread
Anyone with enough time on their hands can find a handful of my posts with what I like to consider my specific, own-brand flavour of gw hate...
But maybe this is a good thing? They might increase the bottle size, change the bottle to something more useful (I'm hoping the vallejo style) or do something that would otherwise help most hobbyists. We know absolutely nothing of this yet, so I'm staying optimistic.
That said, If I get how revolutionary it is, or how great it is, shoved down my throat by any GW channel, or worse, some of the more fanatical gw fans, I'll bust a nut. Don't care how great the product is, if I'm treated like an idiot I'll stay well away. (Pretty much my story with finecast.)
VGC is sometimes okay, I just threw out about 20 bottles of VMC. I prefer reaper to vallejo. But still, no one can touch gw when it comes to washes or metallics.

The colours that they discontinue can often be mixed up from the remaining colours ( a pain in the bum if you are doing an army I imagine). I was disappointed Fiery Orange went I used that colour all the time.
As far as metallics go I don't often use GW ones. The Silvers are good but all the golds are terrible. I've switched to vallejo model air metallics - lovely to use. They are meant for airbrushses but work very well off a paintbrush.

But not to worry, shortly after they will release a liquid paint stuff to help fill in the missing colour!
But seriously, Ive been slowly replacing my paints for vallejo but Id like to see GW bring back there green glaze. I know you can mix your own, but that green glaze did wonders for my green skins years ago, and with my lack of skill now, I could do with a pot or two!![]()
The hex pots with the red lids? I've got two pots you can have if you're in the UK.One of 'em's still sealed. I got 'em years ago, as I was in GW Glasgow when they were clearing out their painting area. Got about a hundred assorted paints for nowt.
They'll probably start selling pre-diluted paints for our Benefit lol.
Since they introduced the pots that will not stay open (yes, I know, but I liked them the old way), the move to other paints will not be that hard to make emotionally, but if they stop making those lovely washes (Badab Shots, anyone?), I'll not be happy at all.
