    This sounds like Mouserap 40K!

@Demoulius: The new minis are looking good bud. I like what you have done with the Spawn body!

Thanks Hushrong the spawn isent finished actually, it lacks some missing touches like entrails hanging from his bloated belly and needs some spikes/tentacles added to his back. I also want to add some irritated/pocked with warts skin to his legs but am unsure on how to get that effect

He also only has 1 mouth on the side of his body. Have to see if I cant add another on the other side...

I dont think ive showed you guys Max yet have I? Ive just greenstuffed his hat but other then that he was finished

Im not to sure if the hat came out the way I wanted though. The greatsword hats arent as ideal for the conversion as I had hoped Nevertheless, im happy with the conversion

The hat looks really nice. Just sleazy and shoddy enough for underhive scum.

By the way, that half-toro on the table in the third picture looks scary.

Hehe yea I was going to say the same thing

Glad everyone likes the hat dont know what Sigur means about the third picture though are you refering to the limbs on the table? I made some models WYSIWYG and had to pull some arms off

Speaking of which, I think I havent shown that either so ive added a picture

Game has also been delayed apparently... Got a text that it was unsure if they could make it, and havent heard anything since One of the guys could make it next wednesday in the evening. Bit strange time but eh, dont got anything else to do anyway What the others are doing I have no bloody clue about though...

Always the problem with gaming buddies, I've lost count of how many playtest games of my Fallout rules I've had to cancel through no-shows

    Re: Demo's necromunda blog!

Well ive got one! They just dont play anything but fantasy or 40K Local GW also has some people there but noone that I know off (or the staff knows off, ive asked already) plays Necromunda...

Small ragtag gang that ive scratched together is the best that il get anytime soon

With that in mind, I was playing diablo 3 and was talking to an old friend of mine. After about a minute or so (no idea how actually) Necromunda came up and he started checking it out. So soon we'll have a new player most likely He read up on all the different gangs abit and settled on spyre hunters. We'll most likely play a game or two with a normal gang so he can get the hang of the rules. Then he'll start hunting our poor gangmembers

Im abit unsure on how to go about it though. My own gangrating is over 2300. About 1300 more then a starting gang would have... Dont think it makes for a good introduction game if I set him up against my current gang I was playing with the idea to start that enforcer gang a while ago. Might be a good idea to do that! Can also be helpfull if our campaign develops abit more

The guy is a good sport, generaly on time and good company I brought the game up earlier but he had school and work. Now hes graduated so only has a GF and his work to keep in mind

Just like my local club. The only game anyone will play is 40K with a handful of fantasy and some warmahordes. Once a year a bit of Bloodbowl gets played and the only historicals is two guys with DBMM.

Sorry to hear about your gaming scene, but at least you found a new player! Spyre gangs are tougher than overdone steaks, some of them are one of the few (if only) things to have an invulnerable save. WEll they don't call it that but it's basically the same thing!

Maybe the ideal opponent for a gang with a higher rating? Or does it work that way?

Spyrers are thankfully few in number. They can buy extra exp when making a gang so chances are it could end up being pretty even if they face your gang first.

    Re: Demo's necromunda blog!

Dont see how a spyrer gang can easily reach a 2.3k rating though? dont they start with 1000 credits like everyone else? Or do you work their rating out differnetly?

At any case, he wants to start with a van saar gang until he feels comfortable enough with the rules that hes willing to risk the spyrers

    We came up with:

    Gangleader with plasmagun and chainsword
    heavy with heavy stubber
    heavy with heavy stubber
    ganger with lasgun
    ganger with lasgun
    ganger with lasgun
    ganger with lasgun
    ganger with lasgun
    juve with autopistol

2 credits spare. He might switch one (or two) lasgun(s) out for a shotty.

Spyrers do start with 1000 creds, but as I said they can buy exp too. I think a shotgun or two could come in handy in that list and he should buy a new juve as soon as he can I reckon.

Always good to get a new body in your gaming group. His gang is a little samey, but each to their own I guess.

Your gunslinger is nice. It's a proven fact that a cool hat makes gunslingers hit more often.

    Re: Demo's necromunda blog!

Cheers guys Yea I know his list is abit bland but all gangs are bland when they just start out Hed probably buy a new juve right after the first game though!

I played a game against Niels last week but it was so horribly short I wont bore you with a to overly detailed report. We played a raid scenario and he had to take out my water still. On the first turn he managed to hit both my heavy and my sniper, who both fell off their elevated posisitions and took further wounds. In my turn I tried to fire at him, missed with grenade launcher and hit but failed to wound with sniper. Second turn sniper got charged by powerfist gangleader and heavy was shot at even when he was down already. Second turn 1 ganger arrived but couldnt impact the game. Grenade launcher shot and hit Niels' sniper but failed to wound (sigh) His next turn he put my Sniper and heavy out of action. My third turn 2 men arrived, both out of range to impact the game. I fired my grenade launcher, landed on my own water still and blew it up (with a frag grenade I might add...............)

    So er.....

    Yay...

Setting up the table lasted longer then the game Injuries werent bad luckily, heavy lost a finger and the other 2 had full recoveries. For a rare trade I found an bionic and decided to get a bionic eye (couldnt afford the other 2 to begin with ) but am unsure who to give it to. Im guessing my sniper here so hes BS4 again but tbh hes terrible. Even with BS4 and a BOLTER he never impacts my game...... Eh..... What do you guys think?

    Re: Demo's necromunda blog!

Sorry but gotta say it, that game sounded hilarious! I know it wasn't in your favour but some games go that way and at least no one died (or half your gang fell through the floor and into oblivion along with your favourite ganger).

I say hang onto the eye unless you have someone blinded that might need it.
