Well, my leader is close enough to done now. I can always tweak him a little before I paint him as I don't have any gold to hand.
Next up will be some death company followed by a few regular marines so I can fill the mandatory FoC slots. The advantage on getting the leader and death company done first is they will depart from the main colour scheme of the army (mainly gold for the leader, mainly black for the DC) which will afford me a little more time on deciding on my colour scheme (I can't believe I still haven't made a decision on this yet!).
Here's three Death Company berserkers as three is the minimum squad size. Haven't decided what jump packs to give them yet.
One more core unit to go! Not sure whether to do a tactical squad or a jump squad.
I'm not sure if I'll bother pursuing updates as I get to the painting stages... the culmination of my poor camera skills / camera would likely render the exercise pointless.
(EDIT)
Just realised I made a bit of a faux pas with the warband leader... I've put a blood angels chapter shoulder pad on the wrong side. It looks good but I may swap it out for the sake of pedantry.
In the mean time I've made one more Death Company (even though I only needed 3 :P) and an assault marine/raptor with melta gun (jump pack pending).
