This list makes me so happy I could cry - well done.

We played all 6 Ponies against a Goblin army last night. I fear they might be a bit overpowered. Most of the Goblins routed before they could even march into contact. At the same time, the Goblins took an Abyssal Fiend, thinking it would be a match for at least one pony. Nope. Only 7 attacks (10 with Breath Attack), and has a flank, unlike the ponies. Fled after a single countercharge by Rainbow Dash and Applejack Maybe a completely shooty Elf army could outshoot them. But I still have my doubts: sooner or later, the ponies will have shattered the elvish flanks at little risk to themselves.

Pinkie Pie never even deployed! But if she had . . . I shudder to think. No hero in the game comes even remotely close to that kind of power.

My wife remarked that Pinkie Pie should probably have the Party Cannon. This would be thematic, but would make the ponies shootier still. Maybe strip Rainbow Dash of her ranged Rainboom? After all, it isn't really a ranged attack in the show. Party Cannon could amount to short-range artillery: blast and reload, maybe 12". Applejack is good enough without throwing apples.

So, total recommendations:

Nerf them greatly. Moreover:
Make Rainbow and Applejack melee-only.
Make Pinkie-pie short-range artillery. Hidden is still thematic, though. But not vicious.

Oh yeah, the list is definitely crazy overpowered. I should probably get around to fixing it sometime.

The Sonic Rainboom, I'll tone down, but I really do think it works best as a ranged attack. I might tweak the damage/range and add another special rule that states she has to have moved a full 24" in a straight line in the movement phase to be able to use it.

That might make her more interesting to play since you'll have to get the positioning right and make strafing runs to pull it off, and play her like an aircraft on the tabletop.

Removing AJ's ranged attack sounds good to me, there's too much ranged stuff in there already, so cutting down on that would be for the best.

Vicious I added to Pinkie due to her being highly psychotic in the show. You would not want to be stuck in a room with her after breaking a Pinkie Promise, and I have a suspicion that everypony is only her friend because the alternative of being stalked by her is much worse. That said, I can see why she's quite powerful as it is, so I think I will remove that.

Party cannon.. might be best done as an upgrade for her? I'm not sure how the artillery rules will change in the new KoW rules coming out. Perhaps, for now, it could be a 50-point upgrade, and she counts as having a 12" range cannon from the kingdom of men army list?

I'll whip up a 2.0 list fairly soon, with these and the other changes.

I should be getting some mini-ponies in the mail soon, they've finally become quite easy to buy in the UK, with supermarkets selling the blind bags. There's a little hack you can use to tell which pony is in the bag without opening it by checking the number printed on the inside flap.

Apparently Asda have them in-store at the moment for £2 each. There's also a 4-pack with Rarity, Twilight, Rainbow and Pinkie for £8, so this entire army is buyable for £12 if you check the numbers on the blindbags for #19 and #20 to pick up AJ and Fluttershy. Pre-painted, too!

Party cannon.. might be best done as an upgrade for her?

A thought: in one episode, I distinctly remember her chirping: "I never leave home without my Party Cannon!", then whipping it out of thin air to fire a volley of balloons and confetti into the room.

Rainbow Dash: How about a charge bonus: If Rainbow Dash charges from more than 12" away, gain Blast D6 on her melee attack. This would be devastating, but unlikely to happen two turns in a row, making it more dramatic.

Good news about the polybags. Wish I could get them over here (my ponies were a christmas present from back home). But I think Hasbro keeps their factories locked up tight: no Hasbro toys of any description hit the street in China, it seems.

Last I checked, Big Mac was quite expensive on eBay. If you can read the numbers to get him, he might be a good ally.
