I think that that the weapin options should be made a bit different - one kit with 2 hand weapons and shield, other one maybe with halberds and great weapons. Maybe all the weapons options together would make the kit look like extraordinary value and boost the sales.
Right now it is like one box buy for 20 chosen, and nothing more... I dont think that it will be so expensive in manufacturing costs...

I still don't care for the archetype and I was hoping for plastic but it certainly i an impressive kit(s). I just hope the next set in a couple of months is something I will like, knowing my luck it will be OnG or something.

Hmm. They're alright. I like the variety. Not so keen on the overall design - I prefer the simple silhouette of the GW warriors, just wish they had a bit more variety.

Still, I'm not short of Warriors of Khorne. I'm waiting for the Nurgle and Slaanesh kits.

I wish they had more weapon options per kit, but they look great! I just don't like the idea of having to buy a second kit to get great weapons etc...

Very competitive pricing. Im impressed by this. About having 4 different kits, each with 1 weapon type i dont see it as very negative, What will you do anyways with all the excedent weaponry?

Having only 1 weapon choice is also an important part of the low price tag, for sure.

Wow. I love these! Was originally going to buy a box as Slaanesh Chaos Warriors, but when I heard that they may be doing a Torment (slaanesh) kit later I decided that I'd buy a box of them for Forsaken instead. Can't wait to see the next release! I don't suppose anyone has any pics of the models individually? Would be quite helpful to see.

Not bad, but seeing as how GW is supposedly redoing WoC this year, I think we can expect some superior kits when Chosen are redone (and/or the rumored forsaken kit)

Possibly superior sculpts, but not price.

Would you be changing the weapons around between games or mixing weapon types within the same unit?

Maybe if you only buy models from those two companies ;-)

The new AoW plastics look to be a jump in quality over the recent metal Goblin offerings.
The dwarf berserkers are the pick of the bunch.
The plastic chaos models would look good mixed in with their GW counterparts to add variation and quality of appearance. I am wondering how they will rank up though because they look massive even on a 25mm base?

Not sure if its been mentioned here, but the preorder exclusive piece with the kit is going to be a familiar.

Oh excellent, that's what I asked for when I placed the order.

I don't suppose there are any pics or clues as to what it might look like?

I don't think its been sculpted yet, so no. Could be WiP by now, but Felix seemed to think it could be done quite quickly and easily from sculpting to casting.

Thats great as that can be used in the unit or with a sorcerer, i doubt it will be a slaaneshi.tzeentchy style one due to the sorcerer model familiar - which i think is the superb part of that metal kit.

I check almost all companies, one of the side effects of following the hobby on the internet. Ofcourse there are companies that offer the same quality as GW and AoW, bu they don't compete imo with GW because other style/theme/period... . I am talking mostly about historicals as I collect that alonside my GW armies.

Taste is subjective, but I prefer GW mini style for fantasy and AoW mixes very good with it.

Steer clear of Perry Miniatures then or you'll find a bazooka size hole in your wallet ;-)

Secondly 'checking' models on the internet very rarely has much bearing on what the models actually look like in your hand or on the table painted up.
For instance I took a punt on a couple of Reaper models recently, unattractive looking black and white pictures, but when they arrived they were a bit special and painted up they have become center pieces for the units they are now residing in.
There's a big difference between eyeballing a model on the net and holding it in your hand. The proof is in the putting.

Bottom line, it's good for the hobbyists to have more choice and variation.
I like my GW chaos warriors but I'm not enamoured with them, these guys will offer a diversity that wasn't there before, fantastic.
Like you I am really looking forward to the other flavours, slaanesh and Tzeentch for me.
