Great blog! Some seeker knights would be nice to see

The only bad thing I see is the hydra's skin has lost all its detail with the thick paint

The standard you mentioned looks like the WE bearer with the corsiar pendent, and the older slaaneshi champ's shield added.

Great theme, structure, modelling and painting. Brilliantly high quality log!

About halfway through batch painting the unit I got a bit bored and started to seriously doubt that they would look good. The gold was looking super bright and orangey and a bit messy. So I decided to finish one model. Glazed the gold a fit and it works (I think!). So in short the rest of the unit is just basecoated. I'll post more pcitures as I go :]

They are in the pipeline, but a low priority. Using plastic seekers with CoK Riders. Just a bit of cutting and they fit fine.

Yeah a friend of mine said that as well. I'm usually pretty careful but I must have been a bit over-zealous with this one! I'll be careful on large models in the future.

    Right then.

I'm settled into the new flat and it's awesome. I sat down for about 12 hours and painted this. The dragon was very challenging, but I'm quite happy with it.

    Sorceress:

Let me know what you think!

Am I right in saying this is an AoW Sorceress (nekkid!) body with a Deamonette head?...Its a nice looking model and I like the skin tone you've gone for... Is the dragon meant to look like a gem?...Effect looks really cool and must have been difficult to paint.

    Good stuff...

You are correct in all of your assumptions! Yes' It's called a 'complex gem' and it's the first time I've tried it. Was odd to highlight away from the light source.

I swapped the head as the AoW one was kinda big. They are nice models but I don't rate the casting quality, they are really difficult to paint.

Selling these now, please PM me if interested. Would like to sell as one lot really including the custom Battlefoam Case. Could be convinced to paint the rest of the army but it'd have to be for some serious money xxxx
