    WOW cool stuff !

I have noticed that you are using foundry paints (in the background of your pics). There are a lot, so I guess you like them. I like their three colour approach, and I have some myself. But do you think their prize is justified ?

Kublai, i've started using foundry paints myself after i bought 2 of their starter sets for half price (was actually less due to their error) in their recent sales, also bought with a load of wild west minis & a complete confederate army.
Do I think their price is Justified (Yes i do) the price is cheaper than GW paint

    broken down per ml

    GW paint £2.30 for 12ml = 19.16p/ml
    foundry £3.50 for 20ml = 17.5p/ml
    & even better value if you by the 3 colour set = £8.00 = 60ml or 13.3p/ml

    very easy to use too

@ Athelstan, nice crisp paint job, keep up the work

Excellent entrance! Rank and file compare well to your characters and an early appearance of the artillery train is always fun. Keep up the good work!

in the meantime, the drum of the drummer is finished and two further miniatures. a fusilier and a grenadier.

on the two new miniatures i tried a new blue-painting. i tried to achieve more highlight, more contrast.

in the blog there are morge pics to the new figs and a pic to compare the two blues.

Nice additions to the army! The extra work on the blue is paying off. Always go for a slightly brighter highlight for extra pop on the tabetop IMO. Can't wait to see the boys all ranked up.
