A subject of mixed messages.
Our group has quite recently started moving into historical wargaming. For a start the main focus will be Medieval skirmish and Napoleonic dito. Possibly this will expand into other fields aswell. We'll see.
For the 15th century skirmish project we are using the Lord of the rings rule sets with some modifications.
For Napoleonic gaming we will use Song of Drums and Shakos. A skrimish rule set for som fast paced action.
Both projects are 28mm and in some aspects an excuse for putting the Perry brothers excellent miniatures on the gaming table.
To keep track of our projects we kicked off the new year with a brand new blog. You can find it here, Northern Wargaming: http://northern-wargaming.blogspot.com/
My guess is that it will be updated sporadicly... Having other blogs here on warseer I thought it suitable to have this here as well.
Anyway, we started the new year with some gaming and a battle report is up on the blog. It features some 15th century peasants ambushing the local sheriff.
The full report and a lot of pictures can be found on the blog.
Enjoy!
