Greeting's Warseer,
After several years of keenly watching the Fantasy Project logs and with my good friend The Student starting plogs for his own armies I felt it was time to try starting my own in order to motivate myself as I gather my forces for the Fantasy doubles in June. Whilst Student and I decided to initially both take orcs and goblins after reading the new book I decided to go back to one of my starting loves: Vampire Counts. Although I've had about 3 different armies for them over the years all I have left now is about 80 zombies and several characters, an ideal basis to start creating a necromancer's horde, which hopefully will end up rivaling Kemmler himself.
The first miniatures ive managed to paint are the beautiful new plastic necromancer model which still needs a few details and neatening up along with a zombie tester for my scheme. I'm going for a very natural scheme of filthy skin tones along with plenty of browns, greys and greens for cloth to reflect the dirty origins for many of the models. Any criticism willing gladly be accepted as I have never shown my painting off to such a large groups of experienced painters. Thanks.
