Cool marauder conversions. Love the brainleech.
Quality unit fillers, great modeling and, nice paint-work. Thanks for posting!
Thanks for all the comments, chaps! Glad you liked the marauders.
Apologies for the absence, but it took me a fortnight to get some essential painting materials so I've had to occupy my time in other ways (dirty minds insert joke here). Anyway, finally got round to doing some more painting and finished off five marauders which takes the unit to half strength. Hurrah! But that's all very boring, so here's something cooler.
Proper chuffed with this chap. The skin couldn't have come out any better, in my opinion. It was a good chance to play with glazes on this one too. They're really good for shifting tones without having to mix up new paints or anything. Very fun to paint all in all.
Speaking of Nurgle, I got some of the new plaguebearers recently so they'll be cropping up soon. The kits are amazing so can't wait to paint these guys.
Next on the painting schedule is the last 12 warriors of Tzeentch which will give me another finished unit. Then I'll move on to finally painting the sorcerer on disc. Hopefully. Until then, enjoy!

Deliciously putrid...wonderful work!
Thanks for the comments, chaps!
I couldn't resist the temptation of Nurgle, so I whipped up the plaguebearers first. So many buboes...
Probably gonna extend these guys into a regiment of 20 in the future. But first I need to churn through more of the mortals. So many more things to paint...

Looking really good, they're really good models, too.
Glad you liked 'em!
Today I was looking for any excuse not to paint warriors, so I thought I'd get started on the sorcerer lord on disc by painting the disc. I've not attached it to the stem yet as I might go back and do some more things to the underside. What do you guys think?
I wanted it to look like a summoning circle had been just ripped up out of the ground and the chaos storm thing beneath was keeping it afloat with PURE CHAOS ENERGY! or something. I think it worked out better than I expected. Many kudos to anyone who can figure out what the runes say
Enjoy!

Cool stuff, I love the white Spawn! the Disc looks really cool too. I like the fact that you made it non-organic and the plaugebearers are very well painted.
Cheers Nordic!
Got around to finishing the sorceror on disc today. Lookie lookie...
Quite pleased with him really. Went with a red scheme instead of the usual blue as I felt it went with the disc a little better. Just glad he's done now as he's been sat on my shelf for ages now.
Next update will be the finished block of Tzeentch warriors (only 4 left to do!) then I'm on to something else. Probably some marauder horsemen or something. Not sure yet...

Thanks for all the comments, chaps! Glad you liked him!
Well I finally managed to get me some enthusiasm and finish the block of Tzeentch warriors. 24 bad MFs ready to kick ass!
That brings the finished units to a grand total of 2! Hurrah! Well 6 if you take into account characters and the spawn...
Anywho, whilst I was digging about in some boxes I found this chap.
Some of you may be familiar with him. He came out a few years ago and was limited edition (I think he was for some tourney, but I got him off GW's online store when he came out, so I'm not sure). I also found a limited edition marauder champion (he has a hand weapon/shield combo with a horned helmet, not sure when he came out? Possibly 2004/05) and a Games Day Chaos Lord from 2002/03 (the dude holding a wood elf in one hand with a wicked daemon axe thing in the other. The marauder champ and the lord will probably get stripped at a later date and painted, but I'm mostly concerned with the sorcerer.
I'm going to strip him and add him to the army. However, I'm not sure where to go with him so it's time for AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION!!! I'm torn between doing him a blue/silver Tzeentch scheme to match the warriors, a Slaaneshi scheme to go with the marauder horsemen I'll paint up next or just go undivided and do him as a lone wolf. So what do you chaps think?

Cheers LocaLicious, glad you liked them!
Got my act together this week and got the marauder horsemen done. Looky looky...
I probably coulda done these in half the time but someone introduced me to Minecraft recently so it's been a struggle to pry myself away from that recently. Even now I hear the cubes calling me...
Anywho, time is something I have little of in the next couple of weeks. Next week I'm away and then the week after is the only chance I'll have to paint anything before I move back to uni, so along with packing and sorting out all sorts of rubbish I should be able to squeeze something in. Hopefully...

Just kidding. Those horse men look great, so does the sorcerer and.... Everything really... Mind sharing the secret of how you did the color on the knights horses?
