Just kidding. Those horse men look great, so does the sorcerer and.... Everything really... Mind sharing the secret of how you did the color on the knights horses?

For the knights' horses, I think I started off with a blood red/chaos black basecoat, then built it up in layers by adding more blood red. I think. But be careful, you don't need much black in the mix. I only used a dab (literally a dab). The marauder horsemen's horses are chaos black/graveyard earth mix, adding more graveyard earth with each layer or scorched brown/vomit brown mix, adding more vomit brown with each layer.

'Lo again, just a quick update to prove this log isn't dead (I revive this a lot, I know)
I bought a Warshrine when they first came out and only just got round to building it, so here's some pre-paint pics. I ditched the champion it comes with and replaced him with an evil preacher dude made from the wizards kit. I also altered the shrine a bit and I think it's a great improvement.




I'll try and get this painted up ASAP. Hopefully I've got time to go back to the marauders and other stuff and get that painted. The long war continues!
