Re: For Hashut! As the Prophet wills it!

As I'm still at home, I used the time for cleaning everything apart from the Skullcrakcer from casting-residue and the big resin-blocks that all the parts are attached to. I've also started painting the next five Infernal Guard and building the Iron Daemon. Here's what started assembling:

Your warriors look great. I really like how the symbol on their shields really stands out.

Nicely evil colour scheme. How are you finding the models?

    Thanks for commenting!
...and good to see that you all seem to like trhe colours.

How are you finding the models?
They are of a very good quality. I had problems with 40k-Forgeworld-kits, which had bubbles, were warped etc. and was a little afraid that it might be worse for Fantasy with all those smaller parts on the CD machines. All of the its checked there were only some minor bubbles that I needed to fill - that's all.
...some of my 40k Finecast-models on the other hand

Some more work on the Iron Daemon:

Fantastic start. I really like the red highlighting on the black armour, its a great firey look. Part of me wonders what they'd look like with bronze scale-mail, rather then silver. In my head it would accentuate the burning, menacing feel... but I suspect it might not look so good in practice.

Regardless of my random musings, your army will look awesome!

Looking forward to seeing that warmachine painted looks great and I like the Dwarves you have painted but I would say best bet would give that metal a wash of devlan...

I had thought about that and decided against it - too much bronce on the model.

best bet would give that metal a wash of devlan...
The pics don't do the silver justice - it's already washed with Gryphonne Sepia. Devlan Mud usually just makes things look dirty - and Cahos Dwarfs, are, apart from their mental/social problems, still Dwarfs who care for their equipment.

Here's the next batch of Infernal Guard:

This is really really nice. Subscribed. I like the way the light blue on the shields makes the models pop.

Re: For Hashut! As the Prophet wills it!

Thanks for all the kind work!

The last week saw me with lots of work in my job, so there was only little time for painting. I still managed to paint the back of the Iron Daemon, though:

...and some more progress on the Iron Daemon:

I've managed to paint all the metallic parts on the front of the Iron Daemon and glued it to the back. Next will be painting the red parts on the front and painting the wheels.

I had some more time to work on the Iron Daemon, which can be, apart from the crew, considered done.
