Looks nice. I too like the wood effect on the ends of catapult frame. Keep up the good work.
Tournament came and went, and it was a blast. The astute reader (Hi Student!) might have noticed I haven't updated much lately. Partly because I was busy painting, partly because I felt I was talking to myself a little.
I didn't reach my goal of painting up everything, but I'm pretty pleased with what I did produce, and moreso that I finalized what I did, instead of going for some last-ditch panicky basecoating of the entire army (as I usually end up doing). I did paint up the BSB, chariot, Doom Diver, and 20 Orcs. I had to borrow a general, 10 Orcs, and the 6 Trolls.
Anyway, show and tell time. Fed up with Orcs, I did the chariot. I spendt way too long on it, especially the damn Goblins, but I'm very pleased with how it turned out, especially with the wolf swap. Looks trouble! A shame it's only 50 points and not likely to last past turn 2.
Swapped old school wolf with bad ass Space Wolf ones. Before...
...And after.
Paintjob.
Wolves.

How did I miss that chariot conversion !? I really like it, and the painting is very nice as well. Love the white face on the wheels and the rusty metal parts.
The new wolves fit quite well also, a definite idea to keep in mind for the future of my own army
Visit and rate my fantasy log : A lot of green against a feeble mind
Models painted 2011= 45 / 2012 = 62 / 2013 = 7

When I'm done with these skaven and dark elf armies I'm gonna run into the woods and never come back. And when I come back I'm gonna be the *********** knife master.
Cheers! Here's the Battle Standard Bearer, which is the last model I did before leaving for the tournament, so I has some time to give it a little extra loving. Looking at the pictures now, there's a couple of spots I'd like to touch up a little, but all in all I'm pretty pleased! Also, I tried adding a selective wash of Ogryn Flesh to some areas of the skin, which I really liked, gives it some or(c)ganic warmth. I might go over all of the other guys and do the same (Probably won't, though. Because lazy).
BSB! I'm not good at freehand so I stick with simple designs. Also, I suck at highlighting black.
Front. I really like the muscles around the armpit. It's a great sculpt all in all.

Ancient miniatures and new stuff in my Vampire Counts Plog
Very nice work, I love the way your skin tone has come out, plus the goblin doom diver is beautifully painted.
