This is a great issue! Not only do I understand what is written now that I know the game better but that advanced ordinance rules sounds very tantalizing.

Hooray, Warp Rift is back! Not that I like pointing out ommisions in such an awesome magazine but should't the Shadowhunter have a stat line for a prow weapons battery?

Woot! It's great to see another Warp Rift out!

I should get around to writing up some experimental rules and some short stories about space battles in the 41st Millenium. Hmm, that reminds me, I need to get back to those rules for Star Wars that my local guys wanted written up.

Re: WARP RIFT 33 - It is Back!

I've got every WR so far, and have them printed and bound (SO much better to read them 'in person'!). I've always liked them, but starting with issue 30 the layout started looking REALLY crisp, and I found myself awaiting each issue with impatience; eagerly anticipating the next issue!

Curious: if people (me) started sending in WELL DONE battle reports (graphics, photos, commentary, etc.) could a section be opened up for that?

Battle reports were always one of my favorites back when bfg was in wd.

    Hey Ironmonger,

certainly. Previous issues featured them. So if we receive them they can and will be used.

    cheers,

ps, and yes, giving the reign to Vaaish was really a good idea regarding layout.

By way of another update, the magazine isn't dead. I've been locked out of the production files since the version of InDesign I had been using was much higher than the version I have at my studio. I'm trying to get myself updated or at the least get access to a version that will load the files but it's been less than successful.

Hmmm. Still no sign of Warp Rift. Any news?

Re: WARP RIFT 33 - It is Back!

yes. I was using indesign CS5 to build the magazine and I changed jobs which leaves me with indesign CS2 so I'm stuck until I can get CS5 or better since the files can't easily be sent backwards without modification. That's why Warp Rift hasn't shown up.
