These look good, I think the cloak is very well done.

AVE DOMINUS NOX, ladies and gentlemen!
So, today I've finally finished my second squad. Here these guys are:
As you know, I tried new paint scheme for the armor, and I hope it looks better now. So comments and criticism are warm welcomed!
Alright, 21 models (Apothecary and 2 squads) of 49 are painted, well I'll try to finish this as fast as I can. I'm waiting for two more boxes though, so dreadnought and Atramentar are still waiting for their bits. I have something to show though... but a bit later
Cheers, DV
Sorry about my bad english, I speak not very good.
Really cool models. Great work
This is one of the best Chaos logs I've seen!
Your conversions are absolutely outstanding and the details are really good. The painting on these models is also pretty good and what I really like is that each model is different and you use a lot of different colors. One thing I think you might have done better (and this is not a big deal) is the red color on the model, I think you could have highlighted it some more with either orange/pink/white to make the color "pop" moreJust my opinion.
Keep it up!
Oh man 2nd squad was excellent at the painting and stature posés.Me myself are a bit hyped to get that Night Lords conversion kit from GW webpage and do some Night Lords now in between any other EC. But they are so goddamm expensive so Im thinking about waiting. Also with the new codex coming up, they might return in plastic kits.
Keep up the great work. Got nothing to complain about.
"That makes him the new fleet admiral. Offer him my insincere congratulations on a rank he earned purely by being the last naval officer standing." Jago "Sevatar" Sevatarion, First Captain of the Night Lords and Commander of the Atramentar.

Thank you for your advice about red details - next time I will keep that in mind!

I hope next codex will be a bit more variable, especially for Undivided forces. I envy those players who have much more options for their loyal armies.
AVE DOMINUS NOX, ladies and gentlemen!
Not so long ago I've assembled veterans for my chosen squad, but I've completed main part of the sculpting just today. I'll add small details and maybe some additional ornaments later, but the main concept will remain unchanged. So I haven't any clear idea about these guys, though I'm happy how they've turned out: overpowered regular marines, and every has own character of some sort. They also use battle knives instead of chain swords - nice close combat weapon, if they will operate stealthy behind enemy lines. So it was almost first serious attempt for sculpting fingers, and it looks nice, and I appreciate any comments and criticism.
Close-ups:
So, I see the light in the end of this tunnel! I think that Azanael, raptor-like Daemon Prince and Land Raider 'Glardus Meldeth' will be included in my first expansion for this force - just another 2000 pts army, much more 'radical' for NL's. At this point I just need finish bodyguards and raptor squad - all other models are almost finished. I will post all of the progress soon.
Cheers,
DV

Lovely conversion work and very characterful!

great poses on these models, really nice and characterful. its amazing what a bit of repositioning to the legs can do - changing them from squatting to upright. lovely models
These are really damn sweet![]()
these figures are perfect. very tastefully modeled and i like how you have used a limited amount of 'chaos bling' on them. They have a realistic feel to them. the individuality you have captured in each figure is also very well done. i look forward to seeing the completed raptor squad.

I love the marine with a flamer and combat knife.
I can imagine him to have doused the enemy with the flamer and now he's looking for survivors to stab. You have captured lots of personality and individuality in each model!
i've given this thread the 5 star rating it deserves! great models, great conversions

Tehy are just too damn awsome
I think you may be the king of poses! Some of them are stunning, especially the chainsword pommel holding marine, and too many others! Plus you have fantastic painting skills!!

looking good man, can't wait to see an update![]()
