Really like what you're doing here! The nuke trooper looks particularly evil... I saw these troopers somewhere online a few weeks ago and thought that it would be great seeing somebody paint them up. Wish granted

well been a while. im now on a new gang at moment.
The "UNCM" (United Nations colonial marines) in my fluff world they are mercenaries. They will be based on the colonial marines from "Aliens" at moment iv got for this faction a APC and a walker tank/support the main troopers will be Defiance Games Marines with hasselfree pulsa rifles (the smart gun will be a plastic card build).

Very good hobby work. The use of the Pig Iron heads on the Heresy bodies is inspired. I have had my doubts about the Heresy troopers, but putting the alternate heads on them is a great fix.

i was the same as you, did not like them at all managed to pick up a few from here for a little cheaper than RRP. sat in a draw for over 6 month then had a idea of switching the heads and love them ever since.!
well a drop ship came today and well i got these

Yeah, I've got some the UAMC from Defiance. I'm really looking forward to getting some Panzergrenadiers. The UAMC are decent kits, although the design perplexes me somewhat in terms of how the parts were chosen and laid out on the sprue. They are great near future soldier models, though. Very good value.

this faction is USA in my world. Background is during the bombing their armour saved them from some of the radiation and heat. Some got slight disfigured some more than others. Walking out into the wasteland in their armour worn and showing what once was a great and mighty military grasp on the world is nothing more than walking undead to most but to them "ghouls"
Colours are very reminiscent of the Brotherhood Outcasts. I guess they did have rusty armour so it's no surprise really. Nice painting anyway.
I see you've bought one of Zinge's miniguns. Had a couple sitting around but not got around to using them yet sadly.
