This was a fantastic book.

The main thing I liked was the writing style. Specifically, the fact that as soon as I read it, it felt like an Ultramarines book. The sentence structures were curt and report-like when it came to dealing with Ultramarines. The prizing of efficiency. And yet, the lack of emotion was in itself a sort of emotion and I didn't feel like the book was cold at all.

I didn't like the rushed plot, however. I would have preferred it if Guiliman had stepped up and done some super Ultra-tactics and strategy and kicked some Word Bearer ****. The
