Interesting choice of Grimauldus as a base for the Apostle. Only thing I would have done different is file down and sculpt over the cross on the belt.

Awesome Bearers of the Word, cyrus, so very awesome! You have that amazingly crisp, clean, and striking painting style that makes people like myself weep with envy. I'm a huge fan of the shade of red you've chosen to go for with your Word Bearers too, which is a little brighter and bolder than the typical tone used for the sons of Lorgar. I often find that dark, almost burgundy a little...flat, for lack of a better term, and it sometimes doesn't do much for the overall look of the model(s). It often ends up looking a little on the drab side, to me anyway. The red you've gone with really works so well, though, and I'm considering using a similar shade for my own Word Bearers. Very, very nice, sah.

I've got to say, your Dark Apostle is probably one of the best I've ever seen. He's not entirely over-done with mutations and Chaotic "bling", and yet he's very obviously a powerful high priest of the Dark Gods. The pose is really commanding, and the subtle conversions you've done, along with the stellar paint job, make for a wicked Dark Apostle.

Everything is looking so good, cyrus, you've given me a lot of inspiration here, and I'm stoked to see more!
