    parry save

maybe im just being dense but is parry save useable against killing blow?

Edit: also another question arose, lets say my BSB for what ever reason is alone, and duels a wight king who's also alone neither of us did any damage, and i charged him, would i deal 2 damage through combat res for being a BSB?

On both quetions the answer would be yes. Parry save is in fact a ward save. So usable against KB.

A related question with the same scenario; a lone bsb vs something else. What would happen if the bsb lost the combat and failed the breaktest? Would he be destroyed based on the new banner rules?
Necromancers have one redeeming characteristic: They are great believers in recycling!

Yes your bsb dies if he flees from combat.

This sucks the most for Slann bsb generals.

Except that Vampire Count's Undead are unable to flee...so never lose their banners like that.

The Wight King would take 2 wounds from CR (Charge + Banner). If a BSB is within 12" of the King, he would only lose 1 wound. (If he is a BSB he's lose none: Charge = 1 wounds; BSB negates).

It should also be noted that (unlike the last book) Wight King's can not be healed by Invocation at all, so lore attribute would be required to heal him. You used to be able to heal 2 of his 3 wounds in the 7th book :P

Read the thread again, nobody mentioned an undead BSB

The big frog leading the lizardmen is called a "Slann" not a "Slaan", the big bird in the Empire is called a "Griffon" not a "Gryphon". The Bretonnian bird is, unfortunately, called a hippogryph.
