    Dust confusion

Just a little confused, dust tactics is a board game, dust warfare is a upcoming tabletop game version that uses tactics models. I think ive got that right but what is Paolo Parente's Dust?? it seems the range is massive compared to the fantasy flight range. Is it the same game? also the models are very pricey compared to those on fantasy flights website, why is this?

The Paolo Dust thigs are 1:35th or Larger model kits, not really intended for gaming. Usually limited edition, etc.

The Dust Tabletop game is 1:48th models so a fair bit smalle.r

    Re: Dust confusion

Dust is the setting as a whole, as created by Paolo Parente. Fantasy Flight have a licence from Dust Games to produce the Dust strategic boardgame and the Dust Tactics and Dust Warfare miniatures games. The stuff available from www.dustgame.com appears to be additional units, like the relationship between Forge World models and regular Citadel Miniatures.

The models in the Dust-35 line are in a different scale to the models from Fantasy Flight Games. The models in the Dust-48 line are compatible with the models from FFG - although unlike the FFG models, these ones are unpainted and unassembled. The "Deluxe" ranges are fully assembled and painted models, hence the increased price tag. The three playset items are in a larger scale again - 3" action figures, by the looks of things.

Your link doesn't work. No 's' at the end.

    www.dustgame.com/

    However this should work.
