I'm inclined to disbeleive considering how often some of the more prominent guys have said 'stuff doesn't get pushed back - it was always going to be released at xyz time'.
40K releases for February are the Necron Battleforce, and various bits for the 25th anniversary.

Sorry, been away from the rumour mill for a bit. What happened to the rumoured ig wave that was in the mix with crons, nids and wolves? Last i heard was plastic hydra and stormies?

Surely if they write them in advance the releases have to coincide with the articles or adverts...

Current rumOurs had Nids next month with crons a mOnth or two after and Space Wolves in there somewhere too. So this isn't really new lol

Probably just means the space wolves got thrown in with the nids. Beasts of War seem to think that's what's happening
Maybe the Nids wave slated for next month will be paired with the rumoured Space Wolves models as they didn't want to have two Xenos armies in one month?

I seem to remember WD being written three months in advance? Anyway, decisions on any sort of release is very unlikely to be last minute things so that shouldn't be too hard to coordinate. Another thing to remember is that when we hear "pushed back" it might not mean that the release have actually been moved on the master release table, just that it's not arriving when that rumour source thought it was going to.
This is what Harry said in the NID-CRONS thread:
Given that 25th February is the big 40k 25th Anniversary celebration day, and is also the day that March's pre-orders go up, GW had a choice: release the Necron 2nd wave, which would give them most of their options; or do a mixed release of Nids and Space Wolves including models people have been clamouring for for years - i.e. Tervigon/Tyrannofex and Thunderwolves.
No one has posted clear rumours about the contents of the release, and some Nid models may be held back for a later wave. Harry said he's heard a Harpy is waiting in the wings, and there was talk of a plastic Hive Tyrant / Swarmlord, but we just don't know at this stage. Finecast Parasite of Mortrex was sighted though.
Even if we don't hear a peep out of our rumoury overlords we should start seeing leaked pics from WD in about a week.
As for that IG wave with the plastic Hydra and Storm Troopers, Stickmonkey said it's not going to be released as soon as he originally was told. It was on Harry's list of stuff that was pretty much done though, so it could be part of general mini releases around 6th Ed.
Too bad. A general release with Storm Troopers included would've been great.
With Necrons getting their battleforce boxset it would have been nice for the Grey Knights to have gotten one too...

the hive tyrant is no longer available on the uk GW, aswell as deathleaper and ripper swarms
for the space wolves Ragnar blackmane and wolf priest is termie armour and bjorn are no longer available ( bjorn was available again after 17 years for a short while on the UK website but has been removed again )
Dark Angel Terminators are no longer available aswell

In regards to this info you were told, they've made sure it's pretty vague ! The necron release that's rumoured might be coming soon or it might be delayed. Saying its 50/50 reminds me of the old "50% chance of rain" weather forecast...

this would just be par for the course. rumour comes out for a certain date, later on it becomes 'pushed back'
