Expanded is OK to work with as long as it is the high density stuff, usually the wall insulation is OK, if you pva and sand it it will be good.

You can get in on Ebay if you search for 'blue model foam' it's not particularly cheap though. I think it's sold in 4" thick sheets in various sizes up to 2' by 4' if you enquire with the seller. I've had some it's good stuff, I have also managed to get it from B&Q etc. they sell the extruded foam with a foil coating on either side for insulation which you have to remove you can tell by the weight and feel of it if it's expanded or extruded.

B&Q Warehouse sell it in pieces of about 4ft x 2ft for a fiver each - Brother picked up ten not too long ago.

Panel systems sell it by the SHEDLOAD !! - http://new.panelsystems.co.uk/newsc/...?c=StyrofoamCT though this would probably be more suited to a gaming club purchase due to the quantities involved.

4DModelshop sell it in multiple sizes and types - http://www.modelshop.co.uk/search,l....ory=188&q=foam

    Here's another as well... http://www.homecrafts.co.uk/products...locks_M831.htm

No doubt there are many more to choose from including eBay, though you can get torn a new one there for price vs size...

    Enjoy
