THQInsider Dawn of War II and Space Marine online tournaments

I'm THQAdam, and along with THQJess we're representing the THQ Events team in everything 40k right now.

I'd like to initially thank Wintermute and the Warseer community for allowing my post here.

We're relaunching the UK DOWII Retribution tournament here and an Xbox Space Marine one here.

Just to give you a super quick run down of the DOWII ruleset

Prizes: The winner will receive Blood Bowl: Legendary Edition.
Second prize takes a set of Dawn of War II Dogtags.
Expected start time of event: 7.00pm GMT
Expected end time of event: 10.00pm GMT

Event settings:

All games will be 1v1, played on a 2 player map to be announced on the
night.
You may choose any race and commander for each game within the tournament.

Game mode:

Victory Point Control, 500 Tickets, Standard resources.

Structure (for 16 players):

Round 1 will have 16 players, with winners moving to Round 2.
This first round is planned to take place between 7 and 7.30pm, to allow
for any delays in starting matches. If there are not 16 players, some
players will receive byes into the next round.
Round 2 will have 8 players, with winners moving on to Round 3.
Round 3 will have 4 players, with the winners moving on to the final.

I intend to keep a regular look in on each of the kind communities that allow the Events team to peddle our wares. Ask questions here, in PM, on THQInsider or in smoke signals. If I can get your answer, and avoid pain of death, then I shall do so.
