    it's acually the joint between the two sections, i've tried glueing filing and gS but it won't stay in place. It's a bitch. As for my workbench, it was once wood and clean green mat, but 9 months of ork and iron warrior works have left scar's upon it.

    Since i'm about to disappear into the wizzarding world for 2 days (i'll explain when i get back) i thought i'd show off my 1500pt segment for use as space wolves. 20 termies (logan/warsmith needs an axe atm), 2 dreads and a pred. there will be 6 drop pods, but i only own 2 1/2 atm so i'll need to borrow some from my friends at my club for the match. The cyclones are magnetised, the multi-melta's too





    One question to imperial players; Does the concept of chaos marines with cyclone launchers not make you want to excrete a brick?

    Nah it's not the termis with cyclones that make me want to "excrete bricks"; it's the gazillion other termis back up by the Daemonknights Great pred anyways and like the OSL on it

    Not sure if I count as an imperial player, as half the time I play a loyalist codex it's with chaos models...but no, no shrick bitting here. Just wish I had more of them for my carrionwing.

    Absolutey jawdropping army by the way. Look forward to seeing where else you take it.

    Been thinking of how to chaos up a dreadknight, and you've given me lots of ideas. You also tipped the scales on me getting one of those new(ish) daemon princes. Yours is very cool. Good to know about the arm gap issue though...hmm...

    which arm gap issues? and i would try out the DP/DK models, they are both extremely easy to manipulate, for example mine had the axe hand cut off another arm, the original hand removed and replaced with the axe hand, and it blended seemlessly. i didn't like the double massive hand look, and i didn't want some fantasy arm ruining my chaos marine DP.


    Ok first up; charity news!

    the wizarding weekend was a harry potter event on my island for a children charity, we held it over two days, using the islands steam trains, bus service and one of the oldest schools on the island (very medieval). It was a massive success, exact figures arn't clear, but we've had something in the region of 1100-1300 people over the two days.. on an island with 84,000 people living on it. that's a hell of turnout!

    and now for a quick update, army wise i dropped the pred in favour of a stormshield per squad, magnets followed;




    and build a logan-axe for my warsmith.

    One page back, the pic of the daemon prince, I noticed a gap running down his left forearm where the two halves go together. Saw a comment above where you were talking about gluing and green stuffing and it not working and thought that's what you were talking about (turns out it was a predator barrel). My mistake.

    yeah the arm's easy to fix, i just slapped him together quickly for a match i had (with a basic skin paint job, he's on my to-do list when i get these terminators ready for use tomorrow)

    maybe an idea for the logan count as. why don't you use the count as draigo? and magnitize the arms? One model! 2 count as ?

    i replaced the ork axe with a chainaxe made from a power axe and a chainsword, then gore effectz'd the crap out of it. I'm pretty happy with the turn out

    largely, the maul is played as a thunderhammer or as power weapon, the chainaxe is used as a lord model so he goes between normal guy with CCW or power weapon. the banner guy is a little less wysiwyg since he doubles up as an icon bearer for my daemons (Iron daemon list, decimators/soulgrinder heavy)

    No stormshields on the thunderwolfs? 3++ is a great deal for those guys! Okay 4 wounds, but still to keep them longer in game and for las, plas and melta shot survive?

    i use a rhino screen, it's cheaper in the 1500 scale, and they only need to make it to turn 2, after that they are liable to hit and wipe/batter whatever it is they charge, with the hammer they can handle almost any unit (str 10 ftw)

    So its time to reveal my small summer project; With my iron warriors being a massive by slow moving project and my necromunda being on pause until i buy superglue i've decided to begin a touch earlier than i planned.

    I'm going to be building two traitor guard armies (possibly for use with codex dark eldar in the near future), a 400k Combat patrol force and a 750 doubles tournie army.

    400 pt list; (there's rules at presents about no weapon stronger than str7)
    10 veterans, chimera, 3 grenade launchers
    10 veterans, chimera, 3 grenade launchers
    3 sentinals, autocannons

    750 list;

    10 veterans, chimera, 3 grenade launchers
    10 veterans, chimera, 3 grenade launchers
    Command squad, 4 grenade launchers, chimera
    leman russ, H.bolter spons

    I'm going to be using Veer-myn from mantic to build a ratmen of nurgle guard army, though i haven't decided if i want to make them mutants or just xenos in the service of chaos. Since they aren't released till the end of may i won't be making many choices. I can however work on the tanks themselves, since they are bog standard imperial versions. Here's the first 3 models, Paint in progress - the sentinels;
