The next batch of Zombie's are ready for paint.
The Fell Bat is painted too but I can't get a good picture of it tonight. I'll get it posted asap.

What do you think about some static grass on your bases?

The ogre zombie is lovely. I like these zombies made by differents pieces of differents armies, they look really nice.![]()
Thanks for the kind words
Did someone ask for static grass!
Also, the Fell Bat I mentioned a few day's ago.
All the white patches on the base have been filled in since taking the photo.
And the next Bat starts to take shape.

Some more Zombies and a second Fell Bat are done.

Where are those banshees from? They look brilliant. I also love the look of the dark elf zombies, as they look particularly menacing with those hooked weapons.
I will recommend that you change your base color to something darker and more of an "earthy" brown instead of the orange-toned color you are currently using. I've seen even the simple and appropriate scorched brown--->graveyard earth used to great effect in undead armies.
@ Lord Dan: Yup, Klu's absolutely right, the banshees are from the Mortis Engine.
I've started a Vampire Lord on Steed conversion from a toy skeleton/dog thing I found, so I was wondering if their's any steeds a Vampire Lord can use that isn't a horse and doesn't have wings? Because this thing is pretty big. It's still very much a work in progress but heres how it looks.
And with the start of the Lord.
And just to show you how big this thing is.
And Turbonegro and Emmure just got added to the Download line-up! Can't wait!
All C&C welcome.
Sorry for the massive gap between posts, my computer broke and photobucket is blocked at college. But I have been keeping track of the army progress so I've got a lot to post now.
First off, more zombies. Before:
And after, with a zombie I'd already finished, but I've stuck an arrow in his eye socket:
I've starter playing around with gore effects:
Another Fell Bat, before:
And after:
Here's how the Banshee's are looking:
I got a vampire lord which went from this:
To this:
And I started putting togeth a Wraith this morning:
I was just about to glue it's head on when I stopped, looked at it and thought "that looks pretty sinister". What do you think, give it a head or leave it as an empty hood?
I've also started putting together a bunch of Skeletons but they're not at a stage worth posting yet.
All C&C welcome.
We shall be watching with great interest...
I'm not too sure about the wraith. Any chance of a better shot of the empty hood?

@ Vinush: Thanks for the feedback, and I'll get a close-up of the Wraith's hood posted for you after work tomorrow.
I was wondering if anybody can explain a few things for me, first off what does the term "unit filler" mean? I've been told my Orge is one but I'm not sure what that is.
And I've also been told that a Warhammer fantasy army is built up of percentages of each type of unit (lords, core, rare ect.). I was wondering what those percentages are?
A unit filler is a model designed to take the space of several rank and file models, in the case of your ogrezombie it would take up the space of 4 normal zombies. Unit fillers are great if they add something to the unit, but look crap if it's just to cheap out.
The percentages are as follows:
Min 25% core
Max 25% hero
Max 25% lord
Max 25% rare
Max 50% special.
You must also have at least 3 separate units.

Omg no fair! Ive had those zombie plans for ages!now someone beat me to it *grumbles*
Nice models though so eh.... Nice....Job?![]()
Thanks for the info Vince, does that mean that a unit filler still just counts as one model? or does it count for the amount of spaces it takes up? Like my Ogre, would he count as one Zombie or four?
Here's the close up on the Wraith too.
It's still got it's neck because I havent decided about giving it head or not, but if I do decide to stick with the hood then I'll smooth the neck down.
And I've also built the Skeletons.
The space at the front is for the Vampire Lord I'm currently painting up, he should be finished later on today. Now I really need to catch up on the painting side of this project, next up, Skeletons and a fourth Fell Bat!
All C&C welcome.
The unit filler would count as the number of "models" it displaces, so the ogre is on a 40mm square base, and therefore displaces 4 models. The Ogre would count as 4 zombies.
It looks creepy without a face, perhaps you could put some green stuff in there and smooth it over totally? Rather than having no head it would have a featureless, smooth void...

Any chance you could help me out? How do you make it so your links to your plogs have names instead of just the hyperlink?
Thanks.

Sure, if you look at the "post quick reply" box at the bottom of this page (when your logged in) you'll see a bunch of options along the top of the box, things like font, text size and various attachments. You should see one that looks like a planet earth with a sideways number 8 in front of it. If you highlight a piece of text then click on that symbol a hyperlink box will appear, you just enter the web adress into the hyperlink box, save it, and the piece of text you had highlighted will now be a hyperlink to whatever web page you chose.
