What scale is that car? This is a fantastic log
Those who know don't care any more, and those who care don't know.

    Indeed. Great stuff!

As for Maelstrom, their service is generally great. But the suppliers of Infinity miniatures are struggling to keep up with international demand which had exploded since Beasts of War did their Infinity week last year. So Maelstrom have trouble keeping stock in.

You can usually get a straight answer with a quick phone call.

Thanks! I actually stole the scheme from Greenpeace's official website, using the colours in about the same amounts as they do.

Guilty as charged! There is some scale difference though, I've seen Infinity minis go well together with DE bits but not much else, they are a far cry from Cadians for example.

Thanks! It's 1:43, apparently just about the exact scale for 28mm heroics.

Thanks! Yeah, I suppose I've been unlucky, ordered an Empire army a couple of years back and had problems with that as well.

Got a shipment mail last thursday, so will hopefully have my shiny new toys in the afternoon today!

Yeah, I use maelstrom. Prices for stuff are pretty crazy down here in NZ, it can take a while for them to pack the order, but once it's packed they ship pretty quickly.

Yeah, I heard about the crazy prices down there, amazed that GW etc still get customers!

After a long absence due to the aforementioned month long shipping procedure, Greenpeace is back in the game as I received my package yesterday. Painted a Hacker, though I have to say that it's my worst paintjob yet, a combination of rushing through it and having taken a relatively long painting break in addition to it being a VERY detailed miniature resulted in a kind of crappy piece of work. Still eminently playable though, and I might get back to it to touch up some things once I've finished the Janissary and Djanbazan who are next in line (and will hopefully get more worthy paintjobs).

Thinking of ordering more stuff already, so that I'm not left in the cold again while waiting for the next order to ship... Hmm.

    Cheers,

Yeah man, I don't buy any of their stuff anymore. Well since they embargoed us anyway, my boys just gotten into 40k though, so he still spends his cash there when he gets it, I'm not that mean to make him not buy from them.

I'm loving infinity though, beautiful minis and great rules.

Your hacker looks cool man, although maybe if the pouches etc on his back were a different colour that might jazz him up a little? Also, did that holo come with him or did you make it?

Thanks mate! Yeah, I do like to keep these models quite clean though, only really using the official colours of modern day Greenpeace. Went overboard on the Janissary below, made him all green first but finally caved in and repainted some plates white (as shown in the pics, sadly have no pics of the all green version... suffice to say it was VERY green).

(edit: And yes, made the holo myself, it's from the blister packaging)

So yeah, finished the Janissary lieutenant and a Djanbazan sniper over the last few days:

Now I only really miss a panzerfaust ghulam or a naffatun to have a fully painted 150 pts list. They should both be on their way soon though!

    Cheers,

    Hello, my friend

Heh heh I do like your exploitation of Greenpeace to turn out some cool figures! The terrain piece your Hacker is posing in front of is very nice - love what you did with the lighting effect around those strip lights. His 'dataslate' idea is also very cool indeed - this is one of the cool things that small armies encourage. You can really go to town on personalising them!

For myself, I can see the idea of Infinity as very appealing. I just don't have the time I'd like to assemble large 40K armies these days and Infinity certainly appeals. It's part of the reason I work on the War Z thread with Gomez - lots of individuals.

Where's the latest pieces then? It's only two figures y'know!
Imperial and Ork starships, random Imperial troops and now the developing zombie plague...
