Blood Angels to play against beginners, help me take the competitive out

    40K Army: Space Marines
    Hello,

something a bit different this time. I have recently been invited to a 40k weekend that aims at creating a local community. Most of the players are new and/or pretzels and beer type of players, so I wouldn't want to alienate them by playing a WAAC, super-efficient list. So here's the deal: Is this army fun to play with and against or should I change it? It should be viable, but not wipe people out in three turns.

It should look like a typical Blood Angels army, so have all three types of Marine squads, a Captain and some signature units like Baals, Honour Guards etc.

    1500

Captain: Dual Claws, Meltabombs, Jump Pack: 160 points

Honour Guard: Chapter Banner, Blood Champion, 3 Powerswords: 260 points

10 Assault Marines: 2 Flamer, Power weapon: 215 points

10 Assault Marines: Rhino, 2 Meltaguns, Powerfist: 250 points

10 Tactical Marines: Rhino, Meltagun, Lascannon, Powerfist: 260 points

Baal Predator: 2 Heavy Bolters: 145 points

    10 Devastators: 4 Missile Launchers: 210 points

    1750 points:

    the same plus

Furioso Librarian: Shield of Sanguinius, Wings of Sanguinius (because flying dreads look cool): 175 points

Sanguinary Priest with Jump Pack: 75 points

    2000 points:

    the same plus

Power weapon for the Priest: +15 points

    9 Death Company: 2 Powerswords, 1 Powerfist: 235 points

    Is this casual? Or cheesy?

If all you want to is play and not be competitive I think this list is fine. It isn't over the top at all. My biggest question though, is do you like it? If you are going to have a fun weekend you need to bring a list that you have fun using. Is there a particular unit you like?

My flanks are something for the enemy to worry about, not me. Before he finds out where my flanks are, I'll be cutting the bastard's throat.

Leave the Sang preist at home at all points levels. FNP assault marines aren't fun to face.
I'd suggest a dreadnaught instead, preferably a BA specific type.
Occasionally accused of being helpful and constructive.
One ring Book to rule them all, one ring place to find them, One ring Codex to bring them all, and in the Darkness future bind them. Time for the unified Marine Codex.

It would definitely be fun to play, as I never get the chance to take my converted captain and honour guard for a spin in competitive games. And something I could get behind playing several games long.

If I drop the priest, I can buy the Death Company a Rhino and another guy.
