While releasing new lists together can lead to a more balanced game (as Ravening Hordes showed us, at the start of 6th edition), it doesn't make much sense from a marketing point of view, and releasing complete army books all at once simply isn't feasible production wise (remember that Ravening Hordes was just a 'get-you-by', with only army lists, and compression of those to 2-3 pages per army).
While it is ok to speculate, we will never see an edition in which a full range of army books will be released together with the edition.
I can think of only a couple things i will like to see change, but overall i like this edition a lot and i like how they are doing on balance with the new books so far...
1.) Steadfast gets negated if disrupted. This would help stop the crazy hordes, reward a player for getting a flank, and would bring back some effectiveness of cavalry, who can maneuver into a flanking position more effectively.
2.) Change Dwellers Below to allow a look out sir roll on characters.
3.) Bring back 50% points
