So questions, comments and suggestions everyone? About 30 is painted and there is 30 to go. Will take an army pic later when I get a decent camera

Well I for one really like them. They have a very similar colour scheme to my Templars, with lots of brass used, a real dark gothic look. Nice

After I painted 18 backpacks for some finished sisters I will start with this bad girl. Suggestions how I should paint the tank? The organ will be gold and shiny stuff. But I am unsure about the hull

Your battle sisters are looking cool. I've always liked the look of the organist on the Exorcist and I look forward to seeing it painted.

I got about 15 sisters and an exorcist that is not in the picture. (some with multimeltas and Heavybolters so will problably have some retributiors) But before I start with them I need to paint up some backpacks as I mentioned earlier posts.

I painted a couple with green eyes and the rest with red. I know it isint the best picture but which do you prefere?

Re: Sisters of battle Our martyred lady

Alright, time for a update. I had some stuff to do at school and worked some with my death korps of krieg, with repairs and reprimed them.

Firstly I painted up backpacks for everyone, then I painted 2 standard sisters and one with a flamer. And currently I'm working on 3 retributors, One with a heavy bolter and two with multi meltas.

I went to Ume (A city in Northern Sweden) for a tournament called Fantasia Fanatic a couple of weeks ago, and I found these awesome figures made by hasslefree miniatures. I think they will be perfect after some minor conversions as deathcult assasins, what do you guys think? I also got 5 shields and hammers from Maxmini, Intend to use the shields to make some crusaders, but not sure what else to use, suggestions?

And the Grand final! The exorcist crew. I haven't got around to paint the tank itself but its a start at least.

Cool stuff! It's a nice colour scheme, and you've got good contrast - should look really nice on the battlefield! As for the colour of the tanks, I think a deep, smudged red would work well, or really dark metallic green. I went with dark red tanks for my own SoB, plus some bonewhite.

I like your sisters...i am also doing an army (you can find it in my 40k log in my sig) and its cool to see someone else doing some too...i tend to stay close to the GW colours except of the guns and i have done all the trims gold...but your force is also comming along very nicely...ill be stopping by to see how this turns out...and to answer your question...i think green eyes on the helmets offer more of a contrast with the red robes...

Re: Sisters of battle Our martyred lady

All right, time for a update. My buddies got me some sisters of battle from Dragonslairs(our local gameclub) trading day. Really like the backpack conversion on the seraphims, more on those when they are painted. I also got a stockpile of bitz and half a throne of judgement(no servitors or legs) and a couple of special weapons and a confessor. The box from maxmini is some shields and hammers, I intend to use the shields for crusader conversions but I have no idea how I will make the bodies so nothing on them yet.

Re: Sisters of battle Our martyred lady

Last weekend I played some games. Here is some from a battle against the tyranids. It was annihilation, pitched battle. he barely deployed anything on the board. As a respond I scouted up my dominions and slaughtered the little he had. The rest of his army took their sweet time to arrive so I used the time to take the two bunkers in the middle of the board, far away from any outflanking genestealers. All this bad luck for the Tyranid led eventually to a Grand victory for the sisterhood.
Mostly out of luck, if his reserves arrived earlier then it would be an entirely different battle, possibly won by the Hive mind.
But the emperor was with us, In spirit and in fact!
