    Birds for a conversion project?

    Hi,

Im relatively new to the forums so apologies if this is in the wrong place.

I have been trying to search for birds (in particular crows or ravens) which i can mount on one of my space marines in a conversion project. has anyone seen one when they have been on the GW site? If it is part of another model - thats fine.

I have searched myself but the GW catalogue is so big so thought I would check on the off chance anyone has seen anything i could use.

The metal nurgle lord on horse has one, as does the empire general kit and the grden of morr, only one in each though if I remember correctly.

As I recall one of the Privateer Press kits (The Wracks maybe?) come with Crows/Ravens you might be able to pick up from their Bitz service...

You might try the guys at Tabletop world. Several of their items have crows/ravens as accessories They recently started to sell a pack of gravestones separately that comes with 7 of them.

If you ask nicely they might even sell you the crows/ravens separately if you buy enough of them. They are a young company and probably hungry for business, they might even start selling a pack of birds separately if there is interest.

Razorwings look just like crows if you just paint them black.

The GW fences has a crow also, I think. The watchtower too?

Basicly, find someone who's opened lots of GW fantasy kits. Steal their crows.

Not to hijack, but anyone seen similar scaled pigeons/doves? I'd figure the ominous connotations of ravens is juxtaposed by the peace/religious symbol of the dove. I'm looking for suitable carrier pigeon models.

Mate I don't know how pedantic you are with your ornithology but at this scale there is very little differences in physical features. You are looking at a bit of bird shape plastic 10mm long, paint it a suitable colour and call it what you want
