Fine stuff, but don't the Ogres need a spot colour? Now they have black and purple uniforms (two colours that almost blend together), and then skin and metal. Perhaps you could add some warpaint or tattoos to the Ogres? Red or green might work well.

Quick and dirty Firebelly update...
Slaving away to get it all done in time for AGOM.
Pretty pleased with the OSL on the mask and hammer.

Dear Jon,
I like your work. Nice to see somebody keep the old WE models to. I myself have chosen the old glade guard, spellweavers treeman and waywachers over the new ones.
Anyway I wanted to ask you how you did the rusty weapons in the canon. Because I have seen much options but these do feel completely right for me?
Thanks, Daniel
Hi Daniel,
The rust effect on the cannon comes from the Forge World weathering powders. It was pretty much boltgun, devlan mud wash, highlight boltgun and mithril, then apply the dry rust weathering powder to the details. I also used the black soot weathering powder for the powder burn at the end of the barrel, although this was a combination and wet and dry pigments. It also all needs sealin with a spray varnish else the weathering powder eventually rubs off.
Thanks a lot.
I'll manage, once I have the rust weathering powder. I allways seal my models.
Good luck on the project, I will keeping track on it.
Kind regards, Daniel
Well as those who were there know I did get it done for AGOM in the end! At 6am Friday morning I put the last touch on the models, and packed them up ready to leave with my travel buddy 7 hours later.
Thanks to anyone at AGOM who voted for me, I really appreciate it! For any who didn't, I hate you- apparently I lost out on Best Army by a mere 2 votes :0 Just kidding :P
Here's some photos of the army in the cabinet at Warhammer World, which gave me a huge amount of pride to be able to take. It's the first army I've ever actually managed to finish for myself and I'm so pleased they got such a great response.

Awesome army. I saw it at AGOM in the flesh, where it looks even better. You were unfortunate not to win Best Painted; that was a damn tough competition!
Want Warmachine Rulebook, Khador, Lizardmen models, Lizardmen, Dark Elf and Beastmen Army Books, Grey Knights books or some awesome Banelegion models? Check out my trade thread!
Been working on a magnetised Hurricanum/Lumnark for eBay.
Really is an ace kit, pleasure to paint and build.
Please let me know what you think.

Please let me know what you think, never seem t o get many replies on forums!would love some feedback.
Wow!
That a kit bashes butcher/slaughter master with the hell heart ?
Very much a fan of the elevated units-models never seem to rank up these days.
Where the Firebelly is well painted- he does not seem evil like the rest of the army.
Did you custom make some of those helmets as well?
"just make the Base size reasonable"
go go 100mm by 100mm!
"they cannot stop the signal-!"
Those ogres are excellent. I particularly like your juggernaut mournfangs.
Thanks Tsuke!
The butcher is 75% greenstuff with lots of additions from other kits, including the horns from a Ghorgon! He does look appropriate for the Hellheart now you mention it!
I love the elevated units and its much easier to do with Ogres having so few models.
Thanks for your comments on the Firebelly. I know what you mean but the Firebelly is such a gorgeous model straight out the box I didnt want to mess with him too much.
The helmets are all custom made- the leadbelcher welding masks are individually sculpted and the Ironguts visors start with a skull press mould and then blended into the helmets. The mournfang helmets start life as Bloodletter heads with lots off chopping and greenstuff.
This ogre army is beautiful fella!
Love all the conversions throughout the army. The big guns are my personal favourite, all that loverly rust! I have to admit if i could find a place for one in my army then I think I would be adding one... (as long as I had the money...)
The mournfang riders are great, the use of the bloodletters horns on the helmets are genius!
Great variety in these recent projects. The tower looks fantastic and the cork works really well as a base for it.

Just finished a High Elf army, really pleased with the result. Went for a purple and white scheme with some turquoise thrown in and it works great!
Theres a few subtle conversions in the army, such as the white lion unit fillers with a dead Dark Elf whos just been mauled by a Lion, and the Sea Dragon crew of the Bolt Thrower. The Dragon is also magnetised so he can be used as a Prince or a Dragon Mage whenever its necessary.
Let me know what you think, love Some feedback.
The army is brand new, never been played with and on eBay for just £499..... Its pretty much a 2500pt tournament list right out the box, with movement trays. Check it out here:

Been working on a Lammasu for the Fiasco display game on Sunday! Wanted to make a nice big monster and hopefully catch some eyes on the display table. Hopefully those of you who know the original model will appreciate the difference, as the original model was a bit of a comedy piece!
Obviously heavily influenced by the Raging Heroes Lammasu, which was gorgeous, but mine is fully GW legal
