R.I.P. to one of Europe's greatest comic artists. I have been a fan of his since The Incal and his take on The Silver Surfer with Stan Lee was a favourite too.

My first exposure to him was his designs for Tron (he did character designs and costume designs, whilst Syd Mead did the hard ware side of things).

Later on, I saw his work on Metal Hurlant and Heavy Metal.
    Another seminal artist gone.

Syd seems to be going strong though.

I wonder how many people are aware he worked on Alien, very briefly, and the result was the space suits?

When I found that out I was quite surprised. Almost as much as I was when I found he worked on Tron.

Did anyone ever see Time Masters? I have vague memories of seeing part of it on BBC years ago.

I have never heard of this gentleman before, but am not very into comics, but all the other mediums he has worked in according to other users here I know and like. It is a shame I never heard of him earlier. I will have to check out his comic work.
