Hi there!
I've been painting and collecting during 10 years but I never had an army and I've never played before. So I decided I gonna change that right now! And what a better form to start an army sharing with people for get opinions, advices, etc. :P
I bought Necrons for 40k but for Fantasy I decided I'll make an army of Bretonnians and Wood Elves as a main armies for play and learn the rules in Warhammer Fantasy. (Khemri and Demons of Chaos attract me also... so I don't discard the idea of make these armies after Bretonnia and Wood Elves).
At the moment, for Wood Elves I have a box of Glade Riders, a Highborn with Great Weapon and a Spellweaver with Staff; and for Bretonnia I have: A box of Knights of Bretonnia (Realm or Errant) and the Green Knight (I really love the miniature and his rules :3) but this Thursday I'll have 2 Damsels (These ones: http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/ca...dId=prod780911 ), a Bretonnian Battle Standar and a box of Bretonnian Archers.
I really don't like the metal miniatures, I prefer Finecast resin miniatures (Even with their lovely bubbles) and plastic miniatures but I'm so excited in start an army that I decided to start right now, even having metal miniatures. My idea is make a 1000 points Bretonnian Army for start to know the army on the battlefield and learn the rules of Warhammer Fantasy (I'm a newbie... x3)! After Bretonnian Army, I'll go for a Wood Elves Army, again will be 1000 points.
About the paint, I decided I'll make my Bretonnians with a classic theme but without have a restriction of colours (Leaving the imagination fly with the choice of paints!) and my Wood Elves with a winter scheme (Differents tones of Blues, Greys and... snowed bases, yay! :3)
So... once I told you a bit of my project, let's start with it! :)
