Thread: Which GW / Citadel Miniatures fetch the best price on ebay?

Which GW / Citadel Miniatures fetch the best price on ebay?

How much is all our old stuff actually worth?

I am often staggered by the prices of some miniatures on e-bay.

However, what they are priced at in "Buy It Now" auctions and what they actually sell for are two different things.

So what miniatures consistently sell for the high prices? ... and how much do they fetch?

If you can help me with prices of stuff you have sold or seen sold that would be great .... This should generate a list of the miniatures which consistently fetch the best prices.

Note: I am not talking about unreleased or Limited edition stuff ... just regular miniatures anyone might own.

Well, a few years ago there WAS an unbuilt pewter T-Hawk with box on the US eBay, it eventually went for around $400 US.

The Eldar Gyrinx is usually good for $40 - $50 US as well.

    Thanks.
I'll stick The Thunder Hawk in at £255 then.

The Gryinx is the Jes Goodwin fox looking creature? ... I have seen that go for £40 never mind $40 ... i'll add it to the list.

I saw a Malekith on foot model go for a little over £900, that's the most expensive single model I've ever seen sell.

Re: Which GW / Citadel Miniatures fetch the best price on ebay?

But Malekith was an unreleased mini ... I am after the regular stuff anyone might have got hold of.

He seems to sell for a still bonkers £100 these days.

While not a lump of metal, my copy of Warhammer Quest "Pits and Traps" went for over £100 and that was just 4 bits of cardboard and a sheet of A4 paper.

I've noticed the stupid Buy it Now prices always seem to be the same sellers (Essexgirl for example).

Re: Which GW / Citadel Miniatures fetch the best price on ebay?

Epic Capitol Imperialis general BIN price £80-100 with free P&P.

The last couple I have seen at auction have gone for £30-35 + P&P.

Warmonger.... can go for silly prices - I the last one I saw went for well over £100 at auction, not BIN.

    EDIT - here it is - nearly £200 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1507581197...84.m1423.l2649

It is a glorious thing though...

    Any ideas on prices?
I think FW Slann goes for around £40 but then he was a limited GD only mini.
Pre-slotta stuff seems to have increased dramatically in the last 12 months or so ... at one time you could pick it up quite cheap.

I've got a complete Wizards of Morcar set somewhere, if it's worth £200 it's going on ebay! Realistically it's part painted and I doubt I could get anything like that for it.

    A gyrinx is supposed to be a cat-looking-creature not a fox-looking-creature

Sorry I don't have anything constructive to add I'm just amazed at some of these prices.

How many things are you looking for here Harry? Just those listed in the first post or basically anything OOP - and of those just the most expensive?

EDIT: Epic Hellbore goes for basically the same as the CI - I can give a load more epic ones if needed - I spend hours trawling for Epic bargains (both mini and general) on ebay.

Some of the OOP EPIC daemon engines like the Plague tower or contagion engines can go for silly money. £70-80 for the first, and up to about £20 each for the second.
