    $133 it went for.
    Triple LOL.

That walking egg? For that kind of money, you can build yourself a 100 of those and they'd probably look better.

There is the Pretorian XXIV box set on there with bids to £150. In it goes to the top 10.

Not bad for 30 odd men and a couple of guns.

I spotted some Warmaster stuff going for £60-70 the other day for single blisters.
From Warmaster, all of the following can usually go for a reasonable amount (and are no longer available normally). The usual range is 20-80 pounds for a single blister. Some you'll struggle to get for any amount of money-

    Empire:
    Elite Halberdiers
    Elite Handgunners
    Teutogen Guard*
    Knights of the Blazing Sun
    Knights Panther
    Knights of the White Wolf*
    Carts
    Unmounted Griffon*
    Halflings*
    Valten
    Karl Franz on Steed

    Brettonians:
    Knights Errant
    Trebuchet
    Trebuchet Crew
    King Louen Leoncour on Steed

    Dwarfs:
    Hammerers
    Ironbreakers*
    Character tents

    High Elves:
    Swordmasters
    Phoenix Guard
    Dragon Princes
    Unmounted Dragon*
    Tyrion on Steed
    Teclis

    Orcs and Goblins:
    Savage Orcs
    Savage Orc Boar Boys*
    Forest Goblins
    Forest Goblin Spider Riders
    Night Goblin Archers
    Goblin Fanatic Cannon
    Alternative Giant Head
    Orc Carts

    Undead:
    Giant Scorpion
    Undead Carts
    Manfred von Carstein on Steed

    Chaos:
    Chaos Spawn Alternatives
    Daemon Prince- undivided
    Daemon Prince- Nurgle
    Daemon Prince- Slaanesh
    Chaos North/ Norse Marauders*
    Chaos Sorceror Variant- Fire
    Chaos sorceror Variant- Lightning
    Archaon on Steed

    Lizardmen:
    Crested Stegadon
Slann Mage Priest on Carried Palaquin

    Dark Elves:
    Corsairs*

    Other:
    Truthsayer
    Dark Emissary
    Fen Beast
    Emperor Dragon with Maiden

    Plus the entire Kislev range.

The ones marked with asterixes (*) are, I'm pretty sure, the rarest- or at least the ones I've had most trouble tracking down.

    Examples:

There are Squat Bikers on e-bay for as little as 8 or 9 quid. Don't believe what theessexgirl tells you about squat prices, she buys cheap then moves the decimal place when she sells. :/

    on the other hand:

Sgt Centurius is there multiple times with mint bin prices between £70 and £150.

I buy and trade rare oop warmaster as I'm a keen collector and player of Warmaster. The blisters outlined above do generally go for around £40-£60 but I've occasionally seen them go for as much as £90 on very rare bidding war occasions.

I'm after a unit Of Warmaster Brettonian Knights Errant if you have one!
    I'd trade them for a Capitol Imperailis I have - I reckon they're worth a similar amount?

Can any one tell me what the old Marauder Giant goes for these days? I have one unpainted. Would prefer not to sell him but strapped for cash just now so may have to list him.

Re: Which GW / Citadel Miniatures fetch the best price on ebay?

Wow, not to derail the thread but I wonder if I can put a call out for a little help in this area.

I've been out of work for a while and my financial situation is getting tight. Reading this thread has given me the realisation that I could probably ebay some of my most ancient GW models, as I actually have a lot of these rare models from the early 90's sitting unused in the attic.

Having never sold anything on Ebay before, is there any help or tutorial guides for avoiding the most common problems and pitfalls selling rare GW miniatures on Ebay?

I don't post here often but if some good folk could give me some advice on getting reasonably fair prices, you'd be helping out an old gamer that's fallen on hard times.

I have a couple of unopened Sgt Centurius's although I'd love to open and paint someday, making the rent suddenly became a lot more important.

    Thanks

An alternative to ebay would be selling in the trading thread here, or depending on the system on another forum's trading thread. You may not get quite the same price as you would on ebay, but it doesn't cost anything here (I think) and you won't get x% taken off your final sale price.

True, but e-bay does offer a tad more security.

On another note, just because people are BiN selling them for £75, doesn't mean that they always sell for that. You could probably get £50, undercutting them but making buyers more likely to choose yours, but marking them up at the same price as the others would likely cost you in listing fees.

Metal oop bret spearman and squires on foot tend to go for a pretty hefty sum from what ive seen on Ebay Even the mounted yeomen. I've seen those sell for a lot more than they cost from GW website which baffles me a bit. Was a unit of i think 15 bret spearman on there the other day. bidding was good to start as usual. Then i think a few minutes before it ended it jumped from £11 to just over £40 in the space of a few seconds.

E Bay is actually a bit bizarre sometimes. I watch warmaster stuff regularly go for the same or even more than Gw currently sell it for!!!
I see many unscrupulous sellers listing (still available) blisters of warmaster as "rare" or "oop" when its not.

I guess the lack of coverage leads many to believe that ALL warmaster stuff is oop?

The old Fanatic model with the scythe thingy? Bloody hell, I have one of those lying in a box, along with my Praetorians. I might have to get that sorted out...

Any idea how much White Metal Chaos Beastmen are worth? I have a 1500 point army comprised of Ungor, Gor, Bestigor, Minotaurs, Chariots and some heroes. Could I get a rough estimate on the value of each of those unit-types per-miniature?

    Much appreciated.

Do you mean the early 2000's beastmen? Certainly no more than £2 a model for the basic infantry (depending on the PJ and basing - remember ungors have had their bases resized by the newer book) - best if you sold as units otherwise people would be put off by postage doubling the cost of the model. Chariots and minos should go for around current plastics prices - probably still more than what you originally paid for them though...

Re: Which GW / Citadel Miniatures fetch the best price on ebay?

LOL I was going to revive this thread myself.

For whatever reason the 5th/6th edition metal is not very sought after. Don't see much change hands at all but when it does it does not fetch very exciting prices. I guess it is because the old metal beastmen do not match the new plastic very well. (although I like the mix). The Ungor seem to do a bit better as they mix in a bit easier. The minos do quite well because some folks don't like the plastci so they have held their value. Bestigor do OK because the Goldigor are so expensive but they are a bit small next to the current plastic so ... they don't de great either (but best for the infantry) The best sellers will probably be any chariots you have....they get used in conversions as for orcs and Nurgle etc as well as Beastmen so have a bigger market.

    Hope that helps.
