Any Fantasy players in Portsmouth/Southsea?

That want to play against a novice Wood Elf player?

I have available up to 2500 points, but realistically 2k will be my limit for now.

I also have available a Realm of Battle gameboard.

As I said I'm a novice so I'm still mastering the rules and learning my army but currently I only play against my house mate with Lizardmen and he has a VERY limited army so the last 3 games have been crushing victories for me (2x 1000 point and 1x 1500 point) as I have known in advance exactly what I will be up against due to his small options.

My house isn't very big as I'm a student so it would be easier for me to meet elsewhere but I am looking to open my gaming horizons a little bit.

For the record, I'm a 20 year old male.

Yes I had heard of it, but my problem with it is that my schedule chops and changes on a daily basis, I often have time to play games but never the same time slot per week.

Might also be worth getting to Battle Force Pompey (BFP). It's been a while since I've been there but they should still meet at the British Legion in Cosham (Cosham British Legion, 25 Sixth Avenue, PO6 3PD). I believe they meet Thursdays from 6.30 onwards. But it might be worth asking the guys at HeelanHammer as they should know if it's changed.

Sadly Cosham is too far for me, as a student with no personal transport.

Have both Skaven and Vampire Count armies (around 3k for Skaven and 2k for Vamps).

I'm a total novice when it comes to playing (in fact I dont think I've played a full game since 6th edition...), but would like to get back into gaming at some point. I have a fairly hectic schedule as well as Im a computer animation student and have a pretty hectic work schedule (plus tend to be visiting my gfriend at weekends).

Where are you based? I'm right off Albert road and I have a battleboard, the rulebook and 2k Woodies, would be up for a game though if you let me know - my housemate and I are both novices although we have played games at the 1-1.5k level.

You could get hold of the Pompey Pirates - chances at least some of them travel there from somewhere relatively near to you.
I know its a pretty active club, good guys too.

I believe they are the old Battle Force Pompey - rebranded as they are much more warhammer focused than before. No idea if same place.
