Legion makes me think of slivers from magic....which is not a bad idea at all. Man, where have I heard of the name Orochi before.... I know its an 8 headed serpent. Final Fantasy of some sort?

Legion (I play Horde style, and the phrase "We are Legion" comes to mind.)

My hive fleet is named "Hrosshveli"

The hrosshveli or hrosshvalur is an imaginary animal from Icelandic folklore. It is described as a whale-like horse that inhabits the seas of Iceland. According to numerous legends of which he is the subject, this sea monster will strike the surface of the water with his tail and cause huge waves to sink ships. It has long been feared by many sailors and fishermen in Iceland.

As i take Hrosshveli, Hrosshvalur is free to be choose for your fleet name...

Ooh, that reminds me, Bahamut. Mythologically speaking it's a super massive fish, Final Fantasy has it as a recurring big-assed Dragon creature in, I think, every FF game yet released (there are 3 versions in VII).

Don't know... I'm not up on my FF lore. Yamata no Orochi was an eight-headed/eight-tailed dragon from Japanese myth that was slain by the Shinto god Susanoo. I saw some live-action Japanese movie several years ago (Onmyouji 2?) which had a retelling of the myth.

Hive Fleet Orichi sounds too Japanese, so I would leave out the i and go for Hive Fleet Oroch.

D&D beat FF to the punch on that by at least about 20 years. That's WHY FF sees it as a dragon.

IIRC, Scylla is a tendril fleet, I can't remember which fleet is supposedly broke off from ( It's old fluff IIRC.) Charybdis exists also too, as it's a tendril that broke off from the same fleet as Scylla.

I went for Hive Fleet Nautilus.

The original 3 (Kraken/Behemoth/Leviathan) were all used to represent sea monsters in Man o War, so thats what i went for as well - a nautical monster from the deep type thing.

I have no idea what the words mean, other than Meshuggah which means 'crazy' in Hebrew, but they sound pretty cool eh? And someone probably knows what I'm referencing.

Hive Fleet Meshuggah, can only be taken out by a Nuclear Blast.
