Which of the readers handles this piece? Ellis? Armstrong?

Perhaps, but its a different type of experience. I like to be engaged with media, and audio only doesnt fit well in my life. Something like this I want to give full attention to, and I rarely treat audio in that way. If that makes any sense?

EDIT: Also whats the run time?

Can anyone elaborate on the nature of the "butcher's nails"? What is it about them that makes them capable of felling a Primarch? Or are they simply a plot device?

From the little posted in this thread, they keep him from fully entering any kind of restorative sleep, and generally are breaking him down due to that + the rigors of being a Primarch. Without the ability to fully heal, and the toll 200 years of not sleeping would take on the body/mind, its pretty easy to see how Angron would be in the state he is in. I've gone a few days without sleep, its not pretty.

Can Leper Messiah please elaborate more on Kharn and the World Eaters inner workings?

It's not clear how long Angron hasn't been sleeping. I doubt it has been since his meeting with the Emperor. Probably more like since Istvaan.

They flirt with each other. Just using axes and swords instead of wine and flowers.

I'd tell you what they say, but that kinda defeats the point of you checking it out yourself. Just picture a sparring scene between warriors who have that sickening combatative respect for each other thing, there's bazillions in fiction, only making it a bit more primal (coz it's World Eaters) and weird (coz Argel Tal sounds...odd).

Finally got hold of this today. Pure brilliance. Going full steam ahead with my Heresy World Eaters army. Angron just... rocks. And what ADB has done with Lorgar through TFH, Aurelian and now this, has made him into something I never would have believed he could be. Amazing. Just A. Maz. Ing.

Finished reading/listening this one last night. Great book but for me highlight is way the voice-actors did Argel-Tal. There are although other great things in this one also but for me the voice was fantastic (other way around Angron was not so good in my opinion).
But I would really like to have all of these audio-books and dramas in paper format, call me old-fashioned but the feel...

All in all an enjoyable audiobook, I can't seem to grow tired of seeing angron rage (I liked him since Galaxy in flames)
I do have a few problems with it:

These are all minor thinges and I would really recommend this Audio drama.

Great audio, and Argel Tal had one of the best voice acting i've ever heard in a CD.

After listening to the AD one thing stuck out that I would mind someone explaining...

However I really like the description of that Female ship commander (Name has escaped me at the moment..). I was great to see how regular humans fit in with the brutal World Eater regime.

Question. Did anyone else feel that Khârn had a slightly Latino accent? His voice sounded that way to me, particularly when he called Captain Lotara by name.

Yes he did, which I think was quite good. I can't really picture World Eaters all with proper British accents so I hope they run with this in the future, added a nice subtle unique aspect to Kharn/the World Eaters unintentionally in my opinion, but I'm sure others feel differently...

For those of us that haven't got this yet, it's just gone up for pre-order on the BL website.
