Sounds like fun. They had the sci-fi/40k expansion in the past, so this might be fun.

Yeah, Timescape... It was a bit a of an odd one. Should work better as a stand alone game I think.

What a sweet idea, looks like a collection of 40k characters fighting villans in a battle for treasure :P

Unpainted busts? Talisman uses proper miniatures I thought.

Just trying to keep abreast of things. I thought maybe they meant unpainted figures like regular talisman. Either way is fine, I'd love to get my hands on an SoB bust.

I think most of us would...

So looks like I need to put £60+ aside for the summer then.

    Re: Relic from FFG

So do we know, is this a stand alone game, or will you require a copy of Talisman to play it?

I'm guessing it's a stand alone at £60, but I just wanted to check.

And yes, I got very excited at work too!!

It's not. Talisman is pretty much Candyland with fantasy pictures. If this is indeed a "Talisman Game System" boardgame, it will pretty much be Candyland with a bunch of skulls doodled on the board.

You left out the overpowering random element, which can throw up a fun 1-2 hour game, but will most likely turn into a nail scraping grind that drags on for hours.
Read the rules, or the owl will eat you.
