I went to pull up the PDFs this morning and the entire Mordheim Resource section has been removed from the GW site. I e-mailed GW asking about this. I will post their response when (or if) I get one.

Could this be a sigh that the boxed game might be re-released (fingers crossed) or that it is going the way of warhammer quest.
Well, a Redshirt told *waits for laughter to die down*, a Redshirt told me *waits some more*
...
Anyway, he suggested Mordheim (and the other Specialist games) might actually go the way of Space Hulk. A 'one time' re-release just as they did with SH. I'm hoping, but I'm not holding my breath for it either. I'm interested to know what the reply to Kirth's mail will be. For those who need the Mordheim rulebook files, you know what to do... Send me a PM.
Edit: Did Specialist Games always have an 'advance order/ new releases' tab? I only just noticed that (but I'm probably just doing wishful thinking.

Crocks Rule!
R.I.P. Crocodile Hunter.
Nunquam Succumbo! Mortis Ante Dedeco!
- Celestial Lions never die.
Those two menu items have always been there, usually listed White dwarf, did list the blood bowl heroes. Worth noting they've got the undergone rule book listed (again?) for £35.
Edit: gothic book is available for £30.
How long have they been back for?

I could see this as a possibility. As the whole world is in an economic downturn, it makes financial sense to re-offer the specialist games since:
1) You get everything you need to play in 1 box (no codices or army books, no need to purchase additional models, no extra rules or supplements) *Relatively inexpensive to play
2) Even if you want to play a warband that isn't in the original box you only need to purchase about 20 models. *Still only a small financial investment
3) GW still makes money selling the original box sets and the other stuff players will want to play (paints, hobby tools, additional models, etc)
4) It is a good lead in to Warhammer Fantasy (Mordheim) or 40K (Necromunda)
*Edit
Was the rulebook always offered, and how about "Empire in Flames"?

The availability on the actual printed rulebook is listed as no longer available. It isn't supported.

Rulebook isn't available in neither the German nor the Irish site. The removal of the articles is unfortunate, but following the removal of the painting guides not very ssurprising tbh. I do not think it means something, although I'd love it of course! Recently, another site having loads of Mortheim articles was shut down by GW.
Edit: Jup, it was tabletopgeeks: http://tabletopgeeks.com/downloads/
Would be great, but I wouldn't hold my breath for a re-release. Terribly bad for your health to do so.
It's a downright shame they have taken down the downloads, because honestly, almost all of the warbands can easily be made using existing GW sets, and you would think they wouldn't mind a PDF netting them a few extra bucks, but they've done stranger things.
My Project Log of Everything - Fun stuff for everyone!
Warhammer Battle Day - Time for Epic Battles
Warhammer 8th games played : 26
Storm of Magic games played : 2
Yet the coffin lid is still tottering. The last nail should be product range removal.
Well there goes my last link to GW, morheim and necromunda were the only games I could afford and the only thing making me buy any GW models.
Luckily I downloaded all the resources beforehand.....
The direct URI's still work, so the content is there still, I can get google to spit out a link to the rule review. One of my gaming group saved the links to the PDFs, will see if he can send me a copy

The response was a good'un!
Hello there!
Thank you for writing in to us regarding the Specialist Games Resource Articles. Unfortunately, those articles are temporarily unavailable but will be back on the website early next week. We apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused.
Thanks!

Here's hoping they don't lose any in the processand maybe find some of the missing ones..

If there's anything Inquisitor fans have learned over the years, it's that whenever GW do something website related, stuff goes missing.
Seriously, for years the Spanish Inquisitor sites was the go-to place for lots of the missing rules. Stupid reintegration lost us so much stuff...
Remnants: A log whereupon a veteran attempts to piece an army together from scraps and trades

Hmm. A more positive result than my cynicism expected.
The optimism some people still have for a re-release does startle me though. GW hasn't got any interest in lower cost-of-entry games and won't as long as they can still convince people to dump several hundred quid on models, paint, rules and terrain.
The low CoE approach is all the less likely given the relative lack of success with Dreadfleet. And while I suspect a relaunch of an old SG would be more successful, as that would have a response of "Mordheim? Oh, I've heard about that." rather than "What the feth is Dreadfleet?" (Consider how much better Space Hulk did), there are enough people who've told me in the past my common sense is often at odds with the sales figures, so I can't put that much trust in it.
Nah - it had been ripped of all the rules stuff by the time it was re-integrated. These days, there's not much Inquisitor material that's "lost".
Dissappointed, I doubt we will ever see them again.
Bretonnians ARE NOT a pure Knightly army.
Half the army choices consist out of Peasants and Damsels.
'Pride cometh before a choppa in the face'
Any word on when/if we will see them again?
I have all the resources for Mordheim, from Official releases to Unofficial to Experimental. It includes the 2002 Annual, Town Criers, Roster Sheets, etc.
