    Thoughts on Betrayer's plotline

So what does everyone think that Betrayer will be primarily covering. Other than the obvious Word Bearers/World Eaters killing, maiming and burning their way through the Ultima Segmentum, what will be the main plot lines?

I'm thinking Lorgar's eventual conversion of Angron to the worship of Khorne being the primary main one, the title 'Betrayer' showing how he even betrays his brothers that he's 'allied' with.

Not sure, but won't Betrayer handle the story of Kharn? Maybe it covers in greater detail the conversion of the World Eaters. And/or Angron giving Gorechild to Kharn.

I can'T find it on the website though, so I could be mistaken of course!

    Re: Thoughts on Betrayer's plotline

The Betrayer has not been scheduled as of yet. At the moment, I'd say that Angel Exterminatus and Betrayer will be the lead-in HH novels for the next year, one of them possibly coming out in either Feb or March.

So far, the HH team has shown that not all "titles" and stuff are as linear as people make them out to be or perceive them to be. Case in point would be Battle for the Abyss and The First Heretic. So Nazguire is probably correct in that "Betrayer" won't just be about Kharn but Lorgar betraying Angron to Khorne and manipulating him to fall to the Blood God.

Kharn becoming the Betrayer happened quite a while after the Heresy anyway - at the battle of Skalathrax where his actions splintered the World Eaters.

It could also show a fair amount of foreshadowing for that.

I think Prospero Burns showed that the titles can have ultimately very little to do with the content of their novels. That said, putting the World Eaters in a work called Betrayer has rather obvious implications.

Just to hijack this thread for a second but ADB have you given any more thought to that charity auction idea of either a pre release signed book or get a character named in one of your books? or did I make that second part up?!

Aaron just confirmed that one of the missing Primarch is named F'rex? Nice, now all we need to know is more about the legion.

Is it just me or am I the only one who is a little disappointed with the cover. Its just a picture of a Marine being killed in a rather spectacular, over the top, manner.

To be fair it's more of a picture of 2 Primarchs standing atop a hill of dead Ultramarines that they've already killed...
