thanks cat ferret! funny you should mention the bird on corax, ive been debating myself if i should keep it on the model. i always wanted to use it as a companion for a model, but somehow i dont fel it fits the bill here. necromunda is a super polluted, damp, dark place, not very fit for a real bird. also, it makes the model taller than the rest, so it "stands out" more than the rest.

also, wildsnakes willys head is a real find. hes got that proper "wtf is this ****" drunken look on him as Demo says gotta love it

Necromunda might have some sort of species of bird. Apparently there's quite a diverse range of wildlife. OK, most of them are mutated buggers, but they're there!

Dont they have sort of batlike creatures that hang from the ceilgings, fly down ontop of your head and basicly er.... well you know. Do naughty things to your head?

Aside from that im sure the mutated forms of several kinds of birds, insects etc are still buzzing around as well

Besides why does it have to be a "reall" bird? Why not make it a cyber bird familiar?

Ripperjacks? They had models made of them alongside Milliasaurs and Necromundan Giant Rats. You got them alongside Beastmaster Wyrds, but they're OOP now. Good luck getting them off eBay, they go for really stupid amounts sometimes!

Thanks Catferret! They pop up from time to time on eBay, but when with a Wyrd they go for quite a bit most of the time.

There was a scene in a short story in a copy of Inferno where the main character was coerced into crawling around the air vents of a bar when they weren't working in return for bottle of Wildsnake. He found a Milliasaur nest had blocked them! As I recall, the critters got shredded by some industrial fan before they could attack.

EDIT- Oh, and Yakromunda has some articles for download that cover other animals (and plants) that inhabit the Underhive, including Arachnarok sized Spiders!

Hehe, that escher just had a layer of ink on it, and is not finished yet. I tried a black and white scale ink before a color layer, but dont like the result, so I stopped halfway. Have to be redone.
