Alternate minis / merc warband help

Hi again guys so im planning on starting a merc warband very soon i wanted to model them into kind wild west outlaws like lots of pistols ect but i was wondering if any one had minis that fit that bill? they dont have to be gw made im not fussy on that part, if not ill probably just convert them from the milita box set think that would work? also i was wondering what warband to make them Reikland and Middenheim dont seem to fit the outlaw theme very well, Marienburg might work if i model them with bags of cash like straight from a bank robbery or somthing. anyways thanks for reading my crazy thoughts!

I suggest taking a look at the Pistoliers, their arms might be the thing you're looking for. Offcourse the pistols are the medieval kind, but pistols none-the-less. Also, the Kroot Mercenary sprue has some really cool holstered pistols that might be of interest to you.

Get some pistolier bits from ebay. The amount of guns and pouches on those sprues are off the hook!

Marienburger warbands would give you lots of duelling pistols but a reiklander warband would give you marksmen with bs 4 longbows.. suitably outlawish!

maybe riklander warband would work i guess the ld boost to 12 could work they might be terrified of there outlaw leader! i had a look at the pistolier bits but im not sure about the puffy arm that looks to fancy for a bunch of outlaws there is a part with just the hand and pistol that might work. also the kroot holstered pistols do look cool ill have to grab some of them. thanks guys!

Reaper Minis and Malifaux might have a good range of outlawish minis that should fit the bill

If you can afford it, a mix of the Archers (dramatically overlooked box. Bows, furry hats or regular ones with interesting caps you don't get in other boxes, very dynamic poses, lots of daggers and pouches), Outriders (arms, heads) and Militia (everything. Just a very good box in general) boxes will work really well. But of course there isn't much that can match the enjoyment of picking out models from the vast ranges of other companies. I know it hasn't been in your original post but if you consider Estalian mercenaries, also have a look at Helldorado Westerners and Gamezone's really pretty empire models. They're a tad expensive for WHFB but just right for Mortheim. Reaper have tons of models of course. Having a look at Hasslefree can never hurt either.
