Maybe I dont know. I am Swedish. Even though I have studied english since I was 6. But yes I think it is hermit crab. In Swedish they are "Eremit Kräfta."

Or maybe a bigger version of a Natuilus with big tentacles? I think thats what they are called.

For a defiler I was thinking more like a Hermit Crab using a Leman Russ tank as its shell so you can have the battle cannon. It should be a nice mix of organic and inorganic using the Defiler and Soulgrinder kits and mybe getting a real lobster and getting rid of all the gunk and varnishing up that sucker to seal it to use the head and part of the body and have one real claw and use the Soulgrinder claw for the other one.
