ahh then I should not be worried. Though I live closer it should not take to long as soon as they ship them Got everything else. Eager to start my army!

Also love the choice of colours for the mutations. More intrigued to see what you will do with the lords face.

I decided it was time to give this thread a rating of 5. Though apparently i had already done so.

These are seriously stunning models. I'm looking forward to see them finished. I assume you will do some watereffect on the bases?

Great idea, superb execution! Always fascinating to see what madness you dream up next. The only thing extra that I'd like to see added would be small touches like adding seaweed and barnacles.

Just repeating what everyone else has said but these are fantastic. So many chaos armies end up being just Angry Spikey Mahreenz with Extra Spikez! But your guys have a huge amount of character and atmosphere. they are without doubt one of the most inspiring armies I have ever seen.

The cracking effect on the armour is stunningly well done and I think you really carry the ancient 'deep ones' look perfectly. There's a lovely transition between the assorted levels of mutation. In my far too active imagination many of the more normal 'diver' types have an almost tragic feel to them- the men who dove too deep or went missing, who's families on shore mourned and wept for, and held funerals but could never bury. The more unnatural types are extra scary and disturbing because they are quite subtle in places. They actually feel like the kind of mutations that would happen in that situation. Your demon prince is fantastic too. I also love the squid banner on the terminator.

Plus as a huge bioshock and Lovecraft fan I couldn't be more impressed.

I have to say it. These guys are pure awesome! Really liking the way they're turning out. Horrid, evil looking, They could have ben dreamed up by Lovecraft himself. (You're not related to the man, are you?)

you should totally use these for your bases, and fill them with a murky water effect.

How about a 40K version of The Black Kraken (?) submarine-drill/tentacle/octopus-thing from Dreadfleet (could be a Grinder, or a Defiler, or a Superheavy)?

Thanks for all the positive comment everyone I'm literally 90% done making 3 units. They will certainly be done and properly based after the weekend.

@DarkMark, there won't be seaweed or barnacles per say as they are going to be in a swamp land setting. But there will be tons of swamp appropriate weathering.

    @Drazhk: I wish I was related! I am a bit obsessed I'll tell you that much :P

@Cobra.commander. I'm actually using a mix of 2 other SWM bases. The wetlands and bone fields bases for a "dead marshes" feel. It'll work better with the display board I'm making. I'm going to be using those specific SWM bases for my next army, which is a Daemon army.

@andyg2006: I do have some ideas for something similar.

More updates in a few day, exciting!

If this thread were a lady, I'd take her out for a nice lobster dinner. And I'd make sure to call her.

Coolio. Have you seen Malifaux have some newish Dockland accessory packs? Might have something in there for you.

    Keep up the good work.

Will the Deamon army by any chance be done in a similar style to your Marines? *drool*

I'm a little Swamp/Marshed out after this army. At least for the time being. This still more in the works and when the new dex comes out, I'm bound to add a few final units

But I can tell you that the Deamon Army will be like no Deamon army you've ever seen before. Frozen Ice world Khorne....

Sounds exciting! Will you keep the demons red? Could look really nice against cold blues and whites on the bases!
