The way cannons choose their target.

As i read it in 8th, do cannons need to pivot in the movement phase in order to gain LoS for their shooting phase so they virtually have lost their 360º LoS?

Nope.. See pg 109

yes. It tells you to pivot AFTER you have chosen target, which has to be in LoS previously (following the normal shooting rules). Now in page 112, specifically in cannons it says that:

''remember warmachines are allowed to pivot in the movement phase...''

The question here is why would they add such sentence? i really dont see the real intention of the writer on this :/

EDIT: i just read it is faqed in the 1.5 FAQ. It says to change the ''in the movement phase'' to ''in the shooting phase'' so its all solved now and indeed it said to pivot during movement originally omg! =)
