Duke Silscus is a bit underwhelming in combat. I know he does a lot for my original list but i feel im lacking a bit of combat punch. What do people think of the list below. Better or worse than the first?

If you go for the Archon, I'd think the Succubus is probably unnecessary.

3x10 wyches with Archon+ Incubi as heavy hitters is ample IMO. Indeed, 2x wyches + Incubi should be ample for holding the centre against most lists at 1500, provided you get favourable charges

In addition, while Huskblade is nifty, I favour the 145 point agonizer/phantasm/shadow/drugs combo for budget killy. Alongside the Incubi, they can happily nuke MEq all day.

It's a sad fact that a single blaster-born unit is entirely too vulnerable to incoming fire and to poor rolls on your part.

In sum, I'd stick to one HQ, and three assault units.

Here's an example for 1500 using only the Succubus and the wyches as assault units while still maximizing lance (blasters and DL) fire and poison saturation through venoms:

Succubus: agonizer - 85

4x trueborn - 4xblasters -108

If you want the Archon/Incubi instead, you end up having to drop haywires from one unit and consolidating the kabalites...

Thanks for the ideas

The archon stays due to fluff reasons (kit open to discussion), I could lose the succubus I suppose. I have recently played some pretty harsh cc lists with my IG, (Draigowing and SW with thunder wolves.). I managed to win both with my equally harsh IG list and experience as they are my main army. I got the feeling though that my up and coming DE army wouldnt have really dented them much with just the wyches!

Ideally I would like 2 units of blasterborn mmm descisions!
